Description (EN): The main objective of the project is to improve the quality of maritime environment using common innovative methodologies for Integrated Coastal Zone Management plans within the Black Sea region to assure the economical use of the common natural resources in a sustainable manner.

Achievements (EN):

- ICZM administrative schemes, indicators, methodologies, decision making process and specific issues in each Project region evaluated. - ICZM Regional Partnership Guide within Black Sea elaborated. - Technical Toolkit Black Sea ICZM delivered. - Human resources for ICZM approach elaborated – practical training (study visit) organized. - Guide for public authorities on “How to involve citizens in ICZM process” developed. - Maintaining the website platform at page: http://blacksea-iczm.eu/activities/final-draft-of-the-study-on-integrated-coastal-zone-management/ - Mass media communication (local newspaper article) attained. - ICZM Study - 1 ICZM Regional Partnership Toolkit (technical toolkit) – 150 buc. bilingve EN & stat participant (30x5) - 1 ICZM Regional Partnership Guide - Consolidated Evaluation Report on Strategies and action Plans (50 buc.) - 1 Guide for public authorities on public participation (150 buc. bilingv) - 1 Partnership agreement signed - 1 Communication Strategy - Training sessions (theortical and parcatical/study visit) - 2 Awareness campaingn/public debates in Romania + Bulgaria - bottom-up decision and top-down information -2 press conference organized; - 35 press releases prepared/deliverd to media - 1 identity concept created - 10 banneres created/printed/used during events - 5 roll-ups created/printed/used during events - 1,500 folders prepared(pen, notebook) - 700 disseminated to participants and ICZM project stakeholders - 150/ 50 posters disseminated - 1,500 memory sticks distributed to participantsand ICZM project stakeholders - 5 interviews - 10,000 leaflets - 5,000 brochures created, translated, printed and disseminated - 10 radio announcement made - 2 TV spots shooted/broadcasted.
