Description (DE): Von 2018 bis 2050 wird die Zahl der Menschen mit Demenz (MmD) in NWE von rund 3,3 auf 8,5 Mio Menschen steigen. Da MmD lieber in ihrer gewohnten Umgebung bleiben und das Angebot an Pflegeplätzen nicht im gleichen Maße vergrößert werden kann wie die Zahl der MmD wächst, werden zukünftig mehr MmD länger zu Hause leben, wozu unterstützende Produkte nötig sind. Aber: Studien zeigen, dass MmD vorhandene Produkte (TRL 6) nicht kennen und vertrauen. Daher ist es notwendig, Normen für die Produkte festzulegen und durch Zertifizierung Vertrauen in die Produkte (TRL 8) zu schaffen.
Unser Projekt unterstützt KMU in NWE, die innovative, zuverlässige, selbstbestimmtes-Leben-ermöglichende Produkte für MmD entwickeln und vermarkten, um ihren Umsatz, ihre Wettbewerbsfähigkeit und die Zahl von Arbeitsplätzen zu steigern. Durch Zusammenarbeit der Partner aus Forschungs- und Pflegeeinrichtungen, KMUs, Verbänden und MmD werden Standards entwickelt.
Produkte und Standards werden evaluiert und durchlaufen, mit Hilfe der Zertifizierungsgesellschaft GGT, ein Zertifizierungsverfahren, in dem ein Prüf-Siegel für Produkte für MmD in Europa entwickelt wird. Damit können sich Unternehmen in NWE weiter entwickeln und den Bereich ausbauen.
Main Outputs sind insbesondere 1 verbessertes Innovationsnetzwerk, 1 Zertifizierungsprozess mit Prüf-Siegel, 24 in Living Labs getestete Produkte, Dienstleistungen bzw. Prozesse, rund 30 geförderte KMUs und die Zusammenarbeit von Unternehmen, Forschungseinrichtungen, Betroffenen und Versorgern.
Künftig werden Wirtschafts- und MmD-Lobbyverbände in NWE die zertifizierten Produkte empfehlen, die verlässliche Standards einfordern und wertschätzen. Die Zertifizierungsstelle wird mit den Living Labs der Partner die Basis einer europäischen Dementia Living Labs Alliance bilden und durch die Zertifizierung weiterer Produkte und durch die Erweiterung der Kundengruppe auf alle MmD, die zu Hause leben, nach Projektende getragen und finanziert.
Read more Description (EN): From 2018 to 2050, the number of People with Dementia (PwD) will increase from
3.3 to
8.5 million in NWE. Because the supply of care places cannot expand at the same rate as the number of PwDs there is a shift by local government and PwD to remain at home for as long as possible, in the future more PwDs will live longer at home and need more support-products. However, studies show that PwD and their support network do not always know and trust existing solutions (TRL 6). It is then necessary to define standards for these products and, through certification, increase confidence in them and encourage SMEs to focus on this market (TRL 8).
Our project supports SMEs in NWE that develop and market innovative, reliable, self-determined home living products for PwD. This increases the SMEs turnover, competitiveness and job creation. In collaboration with partners from research and care institutions, SMEs, associations and PwD, design standards will be developed. Together with a certification company, new and existing products for PwD will be evaluated and certified. Following the project’s completion, enterprises in NWE will be able to work and develop further in this area.
The main outputs of this project are: an improved innovation network, a certification process and test mark, 24+ products, services or processes tested in Living Labs, 30+ SMEs supported by the project partners, and an ongoing cooperation of companies, research institutions, care providers, PwD and caregivers in NWE.
In the future, business and PwD lobby associations will recommend the certified products, will ask for and value these reliable standards. The certification body and the Living Labs of the partners will form the basis of a European Dementia Living Labs Alliance supported and financed by the certification of further products and, post project, it will expand of the customer base to all PwD, who live at home.
Read more Description (FR): En NWE, le nombre de personnes atteintes de démence (PwD) augmentera de 3,3 à 8,5 millions entre 2018 et 2050. Le nombre de places de prise en charge ne pouvant pas augmenter au même rythme, l’enjeu est donc de soutenir la transformation de l’offre institutionnelle en accompagnant le maintien à domicile aussi longtemps que possible. Il y aura de plus en plus de PwDs qui resteront à domicile et qui auront besoins de produits innovants de soutien. Cependant, des études montrent que les PwD et leur réseau de soutien ne connaissent pas toujours et surtout ne font pas confiance aux solutions existantes (TRL 6). Il est nécessaire de définir des normes pour ces produits et, par la certification, d’accroître la confiance en eux et d’encourager les PME à se concentrer sur ce marché (TRL 8).
Notre projet soutient les PME de NWE qui développent et commercialisent des produits innovants et fiables pour les PwD. Cela permettra le développement du chiffre d’affaires et de la compétitivité des PME ainsi que la création d’emplois. Le projet va élaborer des normes de conception avec des partenaires d’institutions de recherche, de soins, des PME, des associations et des PwDs.
En partenariat avec une société de certification, les produits pour les PwDs seront évalués et certifiés. Après le projet, les entreprises de NWE pourront travailler et se développer dans ce domaine. Les principaux résultats du projet sont: un réseau d’innovation, un processus de certification et une marque de contrôle, + de 24 produits, services ou processus testés dans les Living Labs, plus de 30 PME soutenues par les partenaires du projet, et une coopération continue des entreprises, de la recherche les prestataires de soins, les personnes handicapées et les soignants de NWE.
À l’avenir, les entreprises et les groupes de pression de la PwD (vivant à domicile) recommanderont les produits certifiés, demanderont et valorisent ces normes fiables.
