Maps. How do the maps in keep.eu work?

Keep.eu uses Google Maps as the web mapping application. It then uses information stored in its database on top of these maps, including the programmes’ areas and the NUTS3 areas.

All of this information was gathered with the help of the GIS Department at Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy of the European Commission, and keep.eu uses the Commission’s coordinates for borders, among other settings.
