Basic criteria in keep.eu searches. What is relevant about this set of filters?

Keep.eu contains data on 268 programmes of six different types, from Interreg cross-border, transnational, and interregional, to Interreg-IPA cross-border, ENPI/ENI CBC and IPA-IPA cross-border. Furthermore, these can be from any of the 2000-2006, 2007-2013 or 2014-2020 programming periods. Keep.eu contains data about the programmes themselves, no matter if they have or do not have data on their projects and partners in keep.eu.

Keep.eu’s Programmes section started out by being a list of programmes whose main function was to guide users to data by programme on projects and partners. But it soon developed into an area of the website with its own relevant data about the programmes themselves, their fundamental features (e.g., budgets, funding, geographical areas), and their thematic framework, including objectives, priorities, and indicators.

Users can resort to keep.eu to learn about programmes and to combine data of several programmes according to specific features that they share. These shared features are also search criteria. With 268 programmes, this comes in handy, to say the least.

In Programmes, the most fundamental – or basic – of those search criteria are type of programme, programming period and geographical area. Regarding geography, it is only necessary that users enter one region where the programme operates (it can be as wide as a country and it can be as small as any of the hundreds of NUTS3 regions throughout the European Union, or anything in between). In Partners, the most basic criteria to look for clusters of organisations are their public (i.e. State-owned) or private nature, and their location (per region or country).
