Call for projects updating process: Details
1. Keep.eu’s data manager checks the websites of all programmes for information on upcoming calls.
2. The data manager adds the details of upcoming calls in keep.eu.
Notes:
- This is done in Django, menu item ‘Programmes’. Once in the right programme form, the keep.eu data manager fills out the form ‘OPEN CALLS’, with the mandatory fields ‘Open Call Start Date’, ‘Open Call End Date’, ‘Open Call Banner text’, ‘Open Call Banner CTA’, and ‘Open call link’. The CTA (‘Call To Action’) for the banner is to be either ‘Get more information’ or, in case there is a form for application on the other side of the link, ‘Get to application’. The link needs to be always a URL.
- In case a programme has more than one call ongoing at the same time, the data manager clicks ‘+ Add another Open call’ and repeats the process for the remaining calls as many times as the number of calls.
3. The information is automatically published in the keep.eu programme pages.
4. The data manager informs all Interreg programmes once each round of updates is completed. This information is typically emailed to keep.eu’s programme contact within five working days after the latest review. The professionals in the programmes working with keep.eu are asked to check their programmes’ call data, and they can edit that data in a tool put together with that purpose in mind. (To be able to edit data, those professionals need to be registered and be designated by their programme’s senior management as keep.eu data editors.)
Notes:
- By default, any programme call data is published as targeting all types of organisations, all the specific objectives of that programme and the whole area covered by the Programme. The professionals in the programmes can edit the data, if needed.

Dear <names or titles of contacts>,
As part of our routine process, we review all Interreg programme websites every quarter to stay updated on their call information, as well as their number of projects and partners.
The information we collect on the number of projects and partners is added to the table at the bottom of each programme page in keep.eu. You can find your programme page by typing your programme’s name in English (or part of it), here. If you notice any details that need correction, please contact us and we will promptly make the necessary updates. To learn more about this process and about data representativeness in keep.eu, please see our FAQ entry “How representative is the data in keep.eu, and how is it estimated?, here.
The information we collect on your programme’s calls is published at the top of your programme’s page in keep.eu. You, your colleagues, or collaborators can also update this information directly in keep.eu. Programme editors are professionals from the programme’s Managing Authority (MA) and/or Joint Secretariat (JS) who can edit their programme’s call information in keep.eu. To do so, they must be registered keep.eu users and designated as programme editors by the head of the MA or JS. To learn more about this process and how calls for projects are featured in keep.eu, please see our FAQ entry “Calls for projects in keep.eu”, here. And, to become the editor of your programme call data, simply ask your head of JS or MA to send us an email to keep.support@interact.eu designating you (with your email address) as its editor.
Best regards,
The keep.eu team at Interact
5. Each programme editor, after registering to keep.eu and being designated by their head of JS or MA, can edit the information on calls in keep.eu. Keep.eu’s technical manager assigns them the right priviledges, after their request and only in case their requests include the respective heads of JS or MA in carbon copy, or if the requests come from them.
Programme editors need to log in to keep.eu and go to Kamut (top-right hand side of the keep.eu screen). Once in Kamut they need to select the top left-hand side link ‘Programme call data’. The editing form is very intuitive and easy to use. For any doubt, programme editors are encouraged to ask for help by writing to the email address keep.support@interact.eu. The data manager is their main contact for these matters.
