Language: Search for documents in specific language(s) only. Why use this filter?

Document search can benefit from all the filters of project search, to which specific document search criteria can be added (types and languages of the documents).

Regarding languages, there are two different language filters in project-search: One is free text language selection and the other is the option to ‘search data in a specific language(s) only’. For some more information on these two, please refer to the FAQ entry on the language criteria in Projects and documents.

Specifically for document search, users have the option to search for documents in specific language(s) only. This can be combined with the two aforementioned project-language search filters or used stand-alone.

Unlike the language classification of project data, which is performed by specific software, as explained in their respective FAQ entries, the language classification of documents is made by the keep.eu team, when inserting each and every document into keep.eu. Use it if you know the language(s) of the document(s) that you are looking for or if you prefer to see document(s) in specific language(s) only.
