Keep.eu. Why was keep.eu established?

In 2008, the idea of keep.eu arose from the need to get an overview of the projects within the scope of the 2000-2006 INTERREG / 2007-2013 Territorial Cooperation programmes (including the cross-border programmes in connection with the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument and the Instrument for Pre-Accession).

Back then this information was stored only at programme level.

INTERACT thus established contacts with the Joint Technical Secretariats of the remaining Territorial Cooperation programmes in order to get from them as much reliable and comprehensive project data as possible. The information sent by the programmes started being uploaded and is being updated since then.
