Priority:       (VI-A_NL-BE-DE_1) "A smarter Meuse-Rhine area" aims at promoting innovation in the programme area, further strengthening the innovation system and increasing the exploitation of the innovation system. Stimulation of innovation is focussed mostly on the outlined grand societal challenges of Industrial Transition, Green Transformation and Healthier inhabitants.
Specific objective:  RSO1.1. Developing and enhancing research and innovation capacities and the uptake of advanced technologies

Types of intervention

  • 010 Research and innovation activities in SMEs, including networking
  • 012 Research and innovation activities in public research centres, higher education and centres of competence including networking (industrial research, experimental development, feasibility studies)

Actions under this priority act as an enabler in the framework of the green transformation.
Specific objective:  RSO2.2. Promoting renewable energy in accordance with Directive (EU) 2018/2001, including the sustainability criteria set out therein

Specific objective:  ISO6.2. Enhance efficient public administration by promoting legal and administrative cooperation and cooperation between citizens, civil society actors and institutions, in particular with a view to resolving legal and other obstacles in border regions (strands A, C, D and, where appropriate, strand B)
