The small project “BIOKLIM Without Borders” aims to raise awareness of the impact of climate change and other human activities on local biodiversity by often clarifying abstract terms related to climate change and its consequences for nature and humans. Applied to the cross-border biosphere reserve of the Northern Vosges and the Palatinate Forest, the aim is to carry out on-site activities with school classes and services for the general public in order to raise awareness among adults and children and to provide them with options for action that they can apply in their environment. These activities include the implementation of school class programmes in the form of cross-border environmental education workshops. These activities will culminate in concrete actions to support biodiversity. For the general public, three conferences are planned to focus on the impact of climate change and human activities in general on local biodiversity, and an exhibition rented by the conservation organisation “Vogelschutzliga”. In addition, a cross-border migration between Germany and France is planned. Bilingual information is provided along the route to address German and French participants. The hike is complemented by “pedagogical stations” where the speakers provide information about the fauna, flora and surrounding landscape components.

Le microprojet a pour objectif de faire prendre conscience de l'impact des changements climatiques et des autres activités humaines sur la biodiversité locale. Cette prise de conscience doit permettre une meilleure compréhension de notions souvent abstraites liées aux changements climatiques et de leurs conséquences pour la nature et l'homme. Appliqué à la réserve de biosphère transfrontalière des Vosges du Nord et du Pfälzerwald, il s’agit de mener des activités de terrain à destination des scolaires et du grand public afin de les sensibiliser et de leur donner des pistes d'actions qui pourront être mises en pratique à leur niveau. Parmi ces activités, on retrouve la mise en place d’animations scolaires sous la forme d’ateliers transfrontaliers d’éducation à l’environnement, l’organisation de conférences et d’une exposition orientées autour de l'impact des changements climatiques et des activités humaines en général sur la biodiversité locale et l’organisation d’une randonnée transfrontalière ponctuée de "haltes pédagogiques" durant lesquelles les intervenants fourniront des informations sur la faune, la flore, les milieux traversés et sur l'impact de sur ces milieux. Il est attendu de l'ensemble de ces actions qu’elles génèrent des échanges entre les élèves, enseignants et participants adultes, français et allemands, afin de créer des liens, de faire prendre conscience de l’enjeu transfrontalier commun qu’est la protection de la biodiversité locale et d’aboutir à des rencontres ainsi qu'à des initiatives communes ultérieures.

Das Kleinprojekt „Bioklim ohne Grenzen“ zielt darauf ab, das Bewusstsein für die Auswirkungen des Klimawandels und anderer menschlicher Aktivitäten auf die lokale Biodiversität zu stärken, indem oft abstrakte Begriffe im Zusammenhang mit dem Klimawandel und ihren Konsequenzen für Natur und Mensch verdeutlicht werden sollen. Angewandt auf das grenzüberschreitende Biosphärenreservat der Nordvogesen und des Pfälzerwaldes geht es darum, vor Ort Aktivitäten mit Schulklassen und Angebote für die breite Öffentlichkeit durchzuführen, um Erwachsene wie Kinder zu sensibilisieren und ihnen Handlungsoptionen zu vermitteln, die sie in ihrem Umfeld anwenden können. Zu diesen Aktivitäten gehört die Durchführung von Schulklassenprogrammen in Form von grenzüberschreitenden Workshops zur Umweltbildung. Diese Aktivitäten werden in konkreten Maßnahmen zur Unterstützung der Artenvielfalt gipfeln. Für die breite Öffentlichkeit sind drei Konferenzen vorgesehen, die sich auf die Auswirkungen des Klimawandels und der menschlichen Aktivitäten im Allgemeinen auf die lokale Biodiversität konzentrieren, und eine Ausstellung, die von der Naturschutzorganisation „Vogelschutzliga“ angemietet wird. Außerdem ist eine grenzüberschreitende Wanderung zwischen Deutschland und Frankreich geplant. Entlang der Strecke werden zweisprachige Informationen vermittelt, um deutsche und französische Teilnehmer anzusprechen. Die Wanderung wird durch "pädagogischen Stationen" ergänzt, an denen die Referenten Informationen über die Fauna, die Flora und die umgebenden Landschaftsbestandteile vermitteln.
