Description (EN):

The funding helps the restoration and reconstruction of the farm building of the Füzér- Castle, as part of the rural development and tourism development package built around the castle. In the framework of the package the castle’s bakery and kitchen was built and equipped with utensils suitable for use even today, yet representing the era when the castle was inhabited. Food characteristic of this era is now being made there, tastings are held and life in the Middle Ages is introduced. The “Füzér-Castle in the Nature Park” project, the rural development, the improvement of the incomegenerating ability, i.e. the reconstruction of the agricultural wing of the Füzér-Castle within the Nagy-Milic Nature Park contributed to the strengthening of cross-border cooperation in the economy and in tourism and to the alleviation of the problems arising from the peripheral location of the region.
