Description (EN):

The objective of the project is the preservation and popularization of traditional customs and crafts in region of Baranya/Baranja on both sides of the border. The activities include 2 joint and 4 independent workshops and joint summer camps, seminars for workshop leaders, development of a joint trilingual website and the preparation for the establishment of the Regional House of traditional culture in Kopačevo. The project aims to be the start of a long running relationship and numerous joint efforts for the project partners.

Achievements (EN):

The long tradition of co-operation of the two border towns was the foundation for this joint project aiming at deepening the connections between the two cultures living side by side, encouraging the cultural exchange and developing a multicultural approach to the joint future. The project included the joint organisation of several events, trainings and workshops focusing on culture and art, including an art camp for children of the region. The co-operation also served as a capacity-building exercise for future similar Endeavours.
