Description (EN):

The Project strategy uses the strengths of the cross border partners for resolving the needs and reducing the weaknesses of all citizens and culture artisans.The action will follow the logical hronology and detailed planning.The proposed project is devided in two parts.The first part is investment and includes partial repair and remediation of the Main Halls in Houses of Culture in Sandanski and Novo Selo.The second part includes cultural activities,devided in three areas:Theatre-Music,Painting gallery and Ethno.The investment measures will be implemented during the first five trimesters,because they are necessery for starting the cultural activities.Few of the soft measures will start implementation in the third trimester of the Project and ends in the eight trimester.Publicity and infrmation provision last during the whole period.The Project is in accordance with the needs of the stakeholders.Special attention will be paid to the good financial management of the project.

Achievements (EN):

The main objective of the project was to reach sustainable development of the border region using the rich culture heritage and creation of innovative common cultural activities and services for encouraging the cross border cooperation between culture institutions in Municipality of Sandanski and Municipality of Novo Selo. The Project aimed to use the culture as an opportunity for tourist development and new profits of the local people through cultural traditions and activities promotion and reparation of existing House of culture.  Partial repair and remediation of the Main hall in House of Culture in Sandanski  Remediation and adaptation of Main hall in the House of Culture in Novo Selo  Adaptation and repair of an Ethno nook and an Exhibition hall in House of Culture in Sandanski  Adaptation of an Ethno nook and an Exibition Hall in House of Culture in Novo Selo  Culture activities organisation in Sandanski – theatre-music and painting  Culture activities organisation in Sandanski - ethnology  Culture activities organisation in Novo Selo - theatre-music and painting  Culture activities organisation in Novo Selo - ethnology  Publicity and information provision  Closing forum in Municipality of Sandanski  Closing forum in Minicipality of Novo Selo The project has been successfully accomplished in May 2013.
