Description

Description (EN): To accommodate for increased cross border activity and development within sustainable building technology, cooperation and business for the high north.

Achievements (EN):

The project did a lot of research: two master dissertations were written on the project. It has lifted attention towards energy efficiency in the building sector and uncovered new challenges. The project has been hosting several larger events and thus increased knowledge on its topics among large target groups.

Expected Results (EN):

Less use of energy and less emission of greenhouse gases. Better living conditions for people. Increased awareness of energy efficiency. The actors can find solutions to problems, overcome obstacles and find possibilities in building industry. Adapted or new developed robust technical solutions for the high north exist. Overview over the markets and its stakeholders exists. Harmonized country-to-country building regulations can be used in order to provide possibilities for more cross border cooperation. A common playground for the stakeholders of the building sector exists (virtual market arena).
