Description (EN):

The main project objectives are to strengthen the potential of innovation of the cooperative enterprises in fishery, agriculture, tourism and environmental sectors and to promote them on the international markets. The main activities are: survey on regional policies supporting the cooperative entrepreneurship common action plan for the integration of cooperative systems feasibility study for the "clusterization" of MED cooperatives of the sectors identified pilot projects and online services.

Achievements (EN):

State of the art of project implementation since the project start Since the project start an efficient transnational project management structure has been set up, phases' action plans have been drawn up, approved by the project partnership and implementation started. The kick off meeting was held in Ancona and five Steering Committee meetings took place (Coimbra, Barcelona, Marseille, Lyon and Seville). One intermediate meeting was held in Seville on 4th October 2012 (phase 1.1). Two technical meetings were held in Barcelona and Lyon (phase 1.2).The project communication plan (1.3) has been drawn up by the Region of Epirus and implemented by each project partner in the ICS project area in the different partners' languages. The 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 4.1, 4.3 and 4.4 working groups produced the final versions of the foreseen reports/action plans. The pilot action has been implemented. The online tools foreseen in phase 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3 have been realized and promoted. Latest project activities and outputs During the reporting period the following activities and related outputs have been realized: - organization of the project intermediate event (phase 1.1) in Seville on 4th October 2012 at the presence of cooperatives coming from the involved countries - organization of the 5th SC meeting at the School for Social Economy in Osuna (Spain) - partners' participation to external events to promote the ICS project results (phase 1.3) - publication of news on the ICS project on partners' websites (1.3) - articles and interviews on project activities uploaded on partners' websites and launch of the third ICS newsletter - setting up of the e-learning platform and presentation of the final version of the ICS online tools (1.4, 5.1,5.2,5.3) - AF changes and budget reallocation due to the withdrawal of the Municipal Development Agency of Epirus - Approval and editing of the phase 4.1 report - European Association setting up and pilot project implemented (4.4). Next key steps for the project - final event in Ioannina and cooperatives exhibition - 6th SC meeting to discuss about the project closure in Ioannina - 2000 usb with project outputs - Contents uploading on the e-learning platform - Printing and distribution of phase 4.1 report
