The key idea of this project (Hidden Treasures of the Mediterranean) is to increase the international competitiveness of small and very small tourism businesses operating in 'hidden' internal areas by forming local networks and a cross-border macro system. The plan is also to develop a wide range of accommodation facilities such as holiday homes, B&Bs and farmhouses as an alternative to regular hotels, and combine them with hiking, biking, green traveling and tasting local products. The areas concerned are the following: Genoese Valleys and Val d'Aveto (Liguria), Sorgono area (Sardinia), Municipalities of Evisa and Tolla (Corsica). The businesses have the challenge to attract travellers to little known, scarcely developed locations as compared to the overcrowded coasts. They need to attract slow tourism by offering experiences and a greater connection with the local culture, involving especially foreign visitors. In order to acquire a competitive market position, a portfolio of residences and related activities (and typical products) will be created and adapted to international quality standards, followed by thematic and cross-regional tour packages. The geographical and cultural proximity of the 3 regions will help build paths (from north to south) between Liguria, Corsica and Sardinia. The innovation of the project is organisational: the local networks will set up and manage together the widespread hospitality systems, while the cross-border macro network will manage the marketing of the brand (through the web portal and the network points of sale). An innovative orchestration portal will make tourism products more easily manageable (for network operators) and usable (for tourists).

L'idée clé du projet Les trésors cachés de la Méditerranée est d'accroître la compétitivité internationale des petites et micro entreprises touristiques qui se trouvent dans les zones intérieures des régions de la coopération et qui sont 'cachées', à travers un réseau d'agrégation (réseaux locaux qui sont ensuite combinés dans un macro réseau transfrontalier) et le développement d'une formule alternative d'hôtel répandu, qui combine résidence (gîtes, chambres d'hôtes, agritourisme, etc.) et d’activités (randonnées, VTT, trains verts, dégustations de produits typique, etc.) liées aux caractéristiques des zones concernées, qui sont: Valli Genovesi et Aveto (Liguria), région de Sorgono (Sardaigne), région de Tolla et Evisa (Corse). Le défi territoriale au quel les entreprises font référence est d'attirer les voyageurs vers les zones moins développées et connues pour le tourisme (vis à vis du littoral surpeuplé) grâce à une proposition attrayante pour un type spécifique de touristes, ceux SLOW (notamment étrangers) qui sont à la recherche d’expériences en connexion avec la culture locale. Pour acquérir un positionnement concurrentiel sera créé, avant tout dans chaque zone un portefeuille de résidences et d'activités (et des produits typiques) adapté au standard internationaux de ce type de marché et puis des paquets thématiques liés aux territoires: la proximité géographique et culturelle de ces 3 régions permettra de construire des liaisons et des parcours (du nord au sud) entre la Ligurie, la Corse et la Sardaigne. L'innovation du projet est d'ordre organisationnel: les réseaux locaux devront gérer d'une manière unifiée le système de hospitalité répandue, tandis que le réseau macro (geie) ira gérer la commercialisation internationale de la marque (par l'intermédiaire du portail web et la chaîne de magasins du réseau). Un portail innovante d’orchestration pourra rendre le produit touristique plus gérable (pour les opérateurs de réseau) et efficace (pour les touristes).

L’idea chiave de I TESORI NASCOSTI DEL MEDITERRANEO è quella di accrescere la competitività internazionale delle piccole/piccolissime imprese operanti nel settore turistico insediate in aree interne e 'nascoste', attraverso l’aggregazione in rete (reti locali poi riunite in una macro rete transfrontaliera) e lo sviluppo di un sistema di OSPITALITÀ DIFFUSA alternativo a quello alberghiero, che combina residenzialità (case vacanze, BandB, agriturismi, ecc.) e attività collaterali (escursioni a piedi, in bici, con trenini verdi; degustazioni di prodotti tipici, ecc.) legate alle peculiarità delle aree interessate, che sono: Valli Genovesi e Val d’Aveto (Liguria), zona di Sorgono (Sardegna), i Comuni di Evisa e Tolla (Corsica). La sfida territoriale a cui si rifanno le imprese è quella di attirare viaggiatori in aree scarsamente sviluppate e conosciute a livello turistico (a fronte del sovraffollamento costiero) sviluppando una proposta attrattiva per una precisa tipologia di turisti, quelli SLOW (in particolare stranieri) i quali, più che semplici soggiorni, cercano esperienze e un maggiore legame con la cultura locale. Per acquisire una posizione di mercato competitiva saranno creati, prima un portafoglio delle residenze e delle attività collaterali (e dei prodotti tipici) adeguati agli standard qualitativi internazionali e poi dei pacchetti turistici tematici e trasversali ai territori: la vicinanza geografica e culturale delle 3 regioni permetterà di costruire dei percorsi (da nord a sud) tra Liguria, Corsica e Sardegna. L’innovazione del progetto è di tipo organizzativo: le reti locali allestiranno e gestiranno in maniera unitaria i sistemi di ospitalità diffusa, mentre la macro rete transfrontaliera gestirà il marketing del MARCHIO (attraverso il portale web e la catena di punti vendita della rete). Un innovativo portale di orchestrazione renderà il prodotto turistico più facilmente gestibile (per gli operatori della rete) e fruibile (per i turisti).
