Description
Description (EN): The Baltic Sea Region, despite the common historical heritage is diverse in terms of political, geographic, demographic, and economic aspect. This region thanks to its geographical position and numerous natural advantages has an enormous tourism potential, which, however, is season-dependent. Due to the climatic conditions, the summer tourism is really strong and it is strictly associated with the recreation on the water. On the other hand, this is an area of great historical and cultural heritage, which expertly used, can help to increase the number of tourists visiting the region, not only during the summer time. Creating a branded, cross-border tourist products may lead to lengthen the time of tourists’ visits.

With a young, dynamic team we want to expand our horizons, presented offer, but above all, we desire to continue to grow that is why the idea of teaming up with partners from the Baltic Sea region was born and the cooperation through the establishment of the cluster "Baltic Cinema net". We want to develop the cooperation on the basis of cross-border area, and thus to gain new partners by creating a network–the specific cluster focusing centres, which operate non-commercial cinemas, and in particular cinemas that are not multiplexes. The purpose of the cluster is to build a network uniting the cinemas, local cultural institutions, non-governmental organizations engaged in film education and promotion of cinematography. Together with a partner we have several partnerships, but they are largely informal and unstructured, hence there is the need to strengthen the joint and introduce the mutual development of the concept associated with functioning of the cluster and activities conducted in this framework.
