L'obiettivo generale è di sviluppare un prototipo di piattaforma di realtà virtuale per l’addestramento degli operatori di Protezione Civile, associata a un sistema di raccolta dati dal territorio e comunicazione con la popolazione, per accrescere l’efficacia della prevenzione dei rischi e della gestione delle emergenze a livello transfrontaliero e per migliorare la formazione e l’addestramento degli operatori di Protezione Civile in Italia e in Francia. Questo tipo di piattaforma dovrebbe consentire di aumentare il successo della risposta operativa in caso di emergenza e di accrescere il numero di cittadini che beneficiano di misure di prevenzione del rischio.

L’objectif général est de développer une plateforme de réalité virtuelle pour l’entraînement des opérateurs de protection civile, associée à un système de récolte de données sur le territoire et de communication bidirectionnelle avec la population. Le but est d’augmenter l'efficacité de la prévention des risques et de la gestion des urgences au niveau transfrontalier ainsi que d’améliorer la formation et l’entraînement des opérateurs de protection civile en Italie et en France. Cette technologie devrait permettre d’augmenter le succès de la réponse opérationnelle en cas d’urgence. Enfin, elle devrait permettre d'étendre le nombre de citoyens qui bénéficient de mesures de prévention des risques.

Description (EN):

The general objective is to develop a virtual-reality platform prototype meant to train civil protection operators; a territorial data collection system; and a bidirectional communication channel with the population. The aim is to improve risk prevention effectiveness and emergency management at a cross-border level and to improve the training of civil protection operators in France and Italy. This platform should improve the success of the emergencies’ response and raise the number of citizens who can benefit from risk prevention measures.

Piattaforma innovativa basata sulla realtà virtuale per la formazione degli operatori di soccorso italiani e francesi attraverso scenari dimostrativi che simulano situazioni di emergenza; prototipo di applicazione software per l’analisi in tempo reale dei dati provenienti dal territorio transfrontaliero; strumenti per favorire lo scambio di informazioni tra gli operatori del soccorso e per mantenere un contatto diretto con la popolazione durante le fasi di gestione dell’emergenza; strumenti che accrescano le capacità di analisi, di intervento e di monitoraggio delle emergenze attraverso il potenziamento delle sale operative e delle dotazioni della Protezione Civile in Italia e in Francia.

Plate-forme innovante basée sur la réalité virtuelle pour la formation des travailleurs de sauvetage italiens et français à travers des scénarios de démonstration qui simulent des situations d'urgence; prototype d'une application pour l'analyse en temps réel des données de la région transfrontalière; outils pour faciliter l'échange d'informations entre les travailleurs de sauvetage et pour maintenir un contact direct avec la population pendant les phases de la gestion des urgences; outils qui augmentent les capacités d'analyse, d'intervention et de surveillance des urgences en améliorant les salles d'opération et les installations de la protection civile en Italie et en France.

Expected Results (EN):

An innovative virtual reality platform to train French and Italian emergency operators through simulated scenarios; a software application prototype to analyze data coming from the cross-border territory in real time; the creation of tools to enhance the exchange of information between emergency operators and to maintain the contact with population during the different phases of emergency management; the creation of tools to improve the capacity of analysis, intervention and monitoring of emergencies, through the strengthening of operation rooms and equipment of French and Italian Civil Protection.
