Description (EN):

The main project objective is to increase cooperation of the municipal institutions in order to upgrade quality of municipal public fire and rescue services in the cross-border area of Lithuania and Poland. The project partners seek to reinforce capacities of municipal fire and rescue teams for joint respond to the emergency situations, natural disasters and new challenges; to ensure availability of the firefighting and rescue equipment and infrastructure in the borderline area; to ensure sufficient number of volunteers contributing to the high quality of fire and rescue services; to increase awareness of the firefighting and rescue teams on both sides of the border. The main project outputs are joint training of partners' staff (5 topics, 25 days, 318 participants), 3 firefighter cars with specialised equipment obtained, 2 infrastructure objects developed and 17 visibility outputs created.

Głównym celem projektu jest zwiększenie współpracy pomiędzy instytucjami miejskimi w celu podniesienia jakości usług straży pożarniczych i ratowniczych na obszarze przygranicznym Litwy i Polski. Partnerzy projektu dążą do zdobycia umiejętności przez straże pożarne i ratownicze oraz do wspólnego reagowania na sytuacje kryzysowe, klęski żywiołowe i nowe wyzwania; do zapewnienia dostępności sprzętu i infrastruktury pożarniczej i ratowniczej na obszarze przygranicznym; do zapewnienia wystarczającej liczby ochotników przyczyniających się do wysokiej jakości usług pożarniczych i ratowniczych; do zwiększenia świadomości drużyn pożarniczych i ratowniczych po obu stronach granicy. Głównymi produktami projektu są wspólne szkolenia personelu partnerów (5 tematów, 25 dni, 318 uczestników), pozyskanie 3 samochodów strażackich ze specjalistycznym wyposażeniem, rozwój 2 obiektów infrastruktury i stworzenie 17 produktów promujących.

Pagrindinis projekto tikslas yra stiprinti savivaldybės institucijų bendradarbiavimą siekiant pagerinti savivaldybių viešųjų priešgaisrinių gelbėjimo tarnybų kokybę pasienio Lietuvos ir Lenkijos pasienio teritorijoje. Projekto partneriai siekia sustiprinti savivaldybių priešgaisrinių gelbėjimo komandų pajėgumus reaguojant į ekstremalias situacijas, stichines nelaimes ir naujus iššūkius; užtikrinti gaisro gesinimo ir gelbėjimo įrangos bei infrastruktūros prieinamumą pasienio zonoje; užtikrinti didesnį gaisrininkų savanorių skaičių, prisidedantį prie aukštos priešgaisrinės ir gelbėjimo paslaugų kokybės; didinti gaisro gesinimo ir gelbėjimo komandų abipus sienos supratimą. Pagrindiniai projekto rezultatai yra bendri partnerių darbuotojų mokymai (5 temos, 25 dienos, 318 dalyvių), 3 specializuota įranga aprūpinti ugniagesių automobiliai, sukurti 2 infrastruktūros objektai ir sukurta 17 projekto sklaidos priemonių.

Achievements (EN):

Cooperation between local government institutions in order to improve the quality of public services provided by local institutions of fire protection and rescue authorities in the border areas was strengthened. 318 persons participated in joint trainings and events, 1 joint action plan and 2 joint maps were created, 3 firefighting cars were purchased and 2 infrastructure objects were contructed.
