Description (EN):

Overall objective of the project is to increase the life quality through coordinated development of the health care and social systems in the Lithuanian-Polish cross-border area. Main project activities comprise development of the cross-border health care infrastructure, cross-border social and healthcare capacity building, organisation of the ”Cross-border Partnership for Healthy Ageing” workshops and healthy and active ageing promotion campaign. Key outputs of the project are the following: 44 participants of workshops, 120 elderly people participating in the healthy ageing promotion events, 1 permanent structure “Cross-border Partnership on Healthy Ageing” established and 6 NGOs contributing to it, 4 cross-border events promoting healthy ageing organised and 2 renovated health centers (in Puńsk and Birštonas).

Ogólnym celem projektu jest podniesienie jakości życia poprzez skoordynowany rozwój systemów opieki zdrowotnej i społecznej na polsko-litewskim obszarze transgranicznym. Główne działania w ramach projektu obejmują rozwój infrastruktury transgranicznej opieki zdrowotnej, budowanie transgranicznego potencjału społecznego i zdrowotnego, organizację warsztatów "Partnerstwo transgraniczne na rzecz zdrowego starzenia się" oraz kampanię promującą zdrowe i aktywne starzenie się. Kluczowe produkty projektu są następujące: 44 uczestników warsztatów, 120 osób starszych uczestniczących w wydarzeniach promujących zdrowe starzenie się, 1 stała struktura "Transgraniczne Partnerstwo na rzecz Zdrowego Starzenia się" i 6 organizacji pozarządowych wnoszących do niej swój wkład, 4 zorganizowane transgraniczne wydarzenia promujące zdrowe starzenie się oraz 2 odnowione ośrodki zdrowia (w Puńsku i Birštonas).

Bendras projekto tikslas yra pagerinti gyvenimo kokybę koordinuotai plėtojant sveikatos ir socialines sistemas Lietuvos ir Lenkijos pasienio zonoje. Pagrindinę projekto veiklą sudaro tarpvalstybinės sveikatos priežiūros infrastruktūros plėtra, tarpvalstybinių socialinių ir sveikatos priežiūros pajėgumų stiprinimas, „Tarpvalstybinės partnerystės sveikam senėjimui“ seminarų organizavimas ir sveiko bei aktyvaus senėjimo skatinimo kampanija. Pagrindiniai projekto rezultatai yra šie: 44 seminarų dalyviai, 120 pagyvenusių žmonių, dalyvaujančių sveiko senėjimo skatinimo renginiuose, įsteigta 1 nuolatinė struktūra „Tarpvalstybinė partnerystė sveiko senėjimo klausimais“ ir 6 prie jos prisidedančios NVO, 4 tarpvalstybiniai renginiai organizuoto sveiko senėjimo skatinimas ir 2 atnaujinti sveikatos centrai (Puńske ir Birštone).

Achievements (EN):

Renovated 2 healthcare facilities - health center in Punsk and in Birštonas. The following trainings were organized: 2 joint trainings for health professionals, 2 joint trainings for social sector stakeholders. As well 2 sessions of 3-day Cross-border Healthy Ageing Partnership workshop with the participation of representatives of borderland health and social services sector stakeholders and NGO’s were held. During the trainings there were established Cross-border Partnership for Healthy Ageing as a joint initiative between borderland social and health policy stakeholders that monitors and fosters positive changes in older people’s health and wellbeing. The Project partners organized 4 events promoting healthy and active ageing for the cross-border area inhabitants called White Sunday – Cross-border Health Days.
