Der Fokus liegt auf biobasierter Ökonomie. Bioökonomie ist stark disziplinübergreifend und wirkt sich auf bis zu 19 traditionelle wirtschaftliche Sektoren aus. Diese Multidisziplinarität ist eine Brutstätte für Innovationen. Zu gleich ist es auch schwierig die Innovationen zum Markt zu bringen, sowie die Produktionsprozesse und die Wertschöpfungsketten (WSK) zu etablieren. Manchmal existieren die Produkte nicht einmal selbst. BISE möchte Wissensströme zwischen professionellen Support-Services und Unternehmer ermöglichen. Zudem sollen Training und 1 zu 1 Betreuung angeboten werden, die nötig sind um eine Innovation erfolgreich zum Markt zu bringen, aber auch Engpässe aufzeigen die vielversprechende Innovationen verhindern. Die Unterstützung wird sich auf (i) industriellen Machbarkeitsnachweis und (ii) Entwicklung eines realistischen Businessplans, der Markanalysen und Vervollständigung der neuen WSK beinhaltet, fokussieren. Beide Bereiche sind wichtig um jede Art von Investoren zu überzeugen. BioBase4SME baut auf dem Know how und der Expertise aus vorherigen Projekten, wie dem Interreg IVB Projekt Bio Base NWE auf. Dort konnten ca. 20 vielversprechende Innovationen dem Markt näher gebracht werden, was in neue Investitionen und Schaffung von Arbeitsplätzen resultiert. Weiter soll die Innovationsfähigkeit durch die Durchführung von Schulungen für ca. 200 Unternehmer gestärkt werden. Weitere wichtige Errungenschaften sind der Aufbau eines starken, interregionalen Netzwerkes, eine verbesserte regionale Unterstützung für die biobasierte Wirtschaft in Bezug auf Innovation und Investitionsklima, rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen und die öffentliche Akzeptanz. Die Partnerschaft wird die Strategie weiterentwickeln und auf den Erfolgen und Erkenntnissen aufbauen. Diese Informationen werden in einem umfassenden Bericht und andere Werbemittel, die auf Anfrage der Partner verfügbar sein werden, und in den sozialen Medien, auch nach dem Projektende, erfasst.

Le projet BioBase4SME vise à améliorer l’émergence de l’économie biosourcée. Cette économie multisectorielle qui affecte plus de 19 secteurs industriels et représente un important foyer d´innovations. Malheureusement ces dernières ne percent pas toujours jusqu’au marché car les procédés de production, les chaînes de valeurs et parfois même les produits sont inexistants ou méconnus. BioBase4SME permettra d’améliorer le transfert de connaissances entre acteurs du monde de l’innovation et entrepreneurs. Le projet comprend de la formation et du coaching personnalisé afin de permettre aux idées les plus prometteuses d’éviter nombreuses étapes couteuses et goulots d´étranglements qui éradiquent toujours de nombreuses innovations. Le soutien fourni par le projet portera sur (i) la réalisation de preuves de concept à l’échelle industrielle et (ii) l´élaboration de plans d´affaires réalistes, ce y compris des analyses de marchés et de nouvelles chaînes de valeurs. BioBase4SME se base sur l´expertise et les enseignements recueillis lors de projets antérieurs et en particulier sur le succès du projet Bio Base NWE. Nous nous attendons à amener au moins 20 innovations prometteuses vers le marché permettant la réalisation de nouveaux investissements et création d’emplois. Outre des formations dispensées à environ 200 entrepreneurs, BioBase4SME s’axera sur (i) le développement d’un réseau entrepreneurial interrégional autour des innovation biobasée réussies, (ii) l´amélioration du soutien régional, de la confiance des investisseurs, du cadre juridique et de approbation du publique pour l’économie biosourcée . Un focus particulier sera apporté à l’Irlande et afin de réduire son retard par rapport aux autres régions NWE. Le consortium suivra l’évolution du domaine, succès et leçons apprises tout au long du projet, et effectuera un rapport compréhensible et des publications dans divers médias sociaux qui resteront disponibles même après la fin du projet.

Description (EN):

The focus in BioBase4SME is on the emerging biobased economy. This economy is very multi-sectoral, as it affects at least 19 traditional sectors. This multidisciplinarity makes it a hotbed for innovation, but at the same time difficult to bring the innovations to the market, as the production process, the value chains and sometimes even the products are currently non-existing. BioBase4SME will enable knowledge flows between professional support services and entrepreneurs. Training and 1-to-1 mentoring will be provided regarding issues that are essential to bring an innovation successfully to the market, but show to be persistent bottlenecks that eradicate promising innovations. The support will focus on (i) delivering industrial proof of concept and (ii) developing a realistic business plan including market analysis and completing the new value chain. Both issues are primordial to convince any type of investor. BioBase4SME builds upon the expertise and learnings gathered in previous projects, in particular the successful Interreg IVB project Bio Base NWE. We expect to bring at least 20 promising innovations closer to the market, resulting in new investments and job creation, and provide training to about 200 entrepreneurs active in the biobased economy, thus boosting their innovation capacity. Other main outputs are a strong, interregional network to guide entrepreneurs towards successful innovation, improved regional support for the biobased economy in terms of innovation and investment climate, legal framework and public approval. The disparity between biobased innovation capacity in Ireland compared to the rest of NWE will be decreased. The BioBase4SME partnership will follow up on the strategy, its success and the lessons learnt. This info will be gathered in a comprehensive report and promotional material that will be available upon request through the partners and in the social media, also after the project end.

Achievements (EN):

By August 2019 the BioBase4SME Project: - Reached out to over 650 SMEs with bio innovation support for entrepreneurs throughout the NWE regions. - Granted Innovation Coupons to 63 SMEs with a total amount of over 1,5 Mio € spend on SMEs. - Enhanced innovation performance in 17 Workshops through interaction between different stakeholders. - In 11 Trainings outfit entrepreneurs with practical knowledge regarding important aspects of innovation in the biobased economy. - Organisation of 3 Innovation Biocamps with in total 56 young entrepreneurs.

Expected Outputs (EN): Baseline corresponds to the impact created by the Bio Base NWE project: of 27 SMEs that received coupon support, 16 have plans to invest €71 Mio in the coming years, and create 320 new jobs. 43 new jobs were already created by the project end.
