Description

Description (EN): The project developed collaboration between government, nongovernmental and private sectors from the border zone of Romania and Moldova through a cross-border mentoring program.

Achievements (EN):

3 site visits at 6 Centres (Adult Handicap Centre, Occupational Therapy Centre, Domestic Violence Centre, Emergency Child Situation Centre, Centre for the Child that Committed a crime and doesn’t hold responsibility in front of the law, and Day Centre for (pre) delinquent children) of Iasi County Social Service carried out; 3 trainings for social workers in Falesti, Calarasi and Ungheni organized; 1 Best Practices and Working Methodology developed - child abuse, working migration consequences on children, human trafficking distributed to social services in mayor’s offices in Moldova. 1 workshop organized. 3 trainings for social workers in Falesti, Calarasi and Ungheni organized.

Expected Results (EN):

Increasing relations amongst professionals from management structures of social services in Romania and Republic of Moldova; Developing skills of social workers regarding social assistance issues and inter-institutional collaboration; Developing unitary common Romanian-Moldovan practices in social assistance.
