Description (EN):

Project eGUTS strives to exploit potentials of e-mobility in 8 Danube cities, regions and beyond. To do so, the existing network of 22 partners will develop innovative eGUTS Standards for cities supporting e-mobility, based on combined Feasibility Studies will elaborate and realize Local Action Plans for deploying them, develop and test the eGUTS APP smart tool, implement various Pilot Actions in the fields of road preference and parking policies, charging stations, rental spots, and more. Last but not least, consortium will actively intensify cooperation, exchange of experience and transfer of know-how among relevant actors both on transnational (via Expert Panel) and on regional/national level (via Regional Strategy Plattforms meetings) with strong focus on user needs (local citizens and tourists). As result, an improved and coordinated application of Danube eMOB Strategy is expected not only in participating regions but, with wider exploitation of results, in whole Danube area and further in entire Europe.

Achievements (EN):

Main deliverables such as SWOT analyses, eGUTS Standard and DTP eMob Strategy and the Catalogue of eRules and Specifications are all finalized and uploaded to eGUTS official webpage to help other initiatives and projects connecting to eMobility. In the frame of the project, 5 combined e-charger and e-bike rental station have been installed in DTP cities - Paks, Zadar, Velenje, Senec, Timisoara. The e-charger stations are free of charge and easy to use for everyone. An application connects eGUTS e-charger stations. After the test phase, EGUTS APP android was finally published on the PLAY STORE. The application mainly serves for identifying, booking and renting eBikes, searching for specific places among the 7 locations, where eBikes are located and can be charged and recharged. It also has a section for identifying eCar chargers installed in the frame of the project. The APP is developed in 9 European languages, supporting multilingualism usage. eGUTS partners also took the time for a more informal networking afternoon to discuss the frame of future cooperation and activities as a kind of continuation of eGUTS project. Around 40 people went for a bike tour and for a joint dinner to Preko, to the center of the beautiful island of Ugljan. Expected Results (EN): Intensity of cooperation of key actors in the programme area in order to strengthen environmentally-friendly, safe and balanced transport systems (survey based composite indicator)

Expected Outputs (EN):

As a main result, the eGUTS project will ensure an improved and coordinated application of e-mobility solutions in Danube cities. Hereby not only the participating 7 cities and respective regions will benefit, but the whole programme area will be able to plan, coordinate and apply e-mobility tools and services in urban areas. This will be ensured by reaching PSO 1 (especially by defining the eGUTS standards and the e-rules and PSO 2 (via wide implementation of the eGUTS APP and pilot actions. Furthermore, the project will actively contribute to the achievement of the programme result indicator 3.1 that foresees an intensified cooperation among relevant actors. The partners will bring together stakeholders on transnational as well as on regional/national level. For this purpose, international competence teams (Expert Panel) and regional/national e-mobility functional clusters (Regional Strategy Platforms) will be established and moderated, alongside the implementation of PSO 3.
