Description (DE):

Die Projektregion hat einen Wirtschaftsschwerpunkt im Bausektor, der von vielen kleinen KMU (Handwerk, Gewerbe, Planung, Dienstleistung/ auch über Baubranche hinaus) getragen wird. Die gewachsene Kernkompetenz "alpines Bauen" verbindet regionale Baumaterialien, Bautechniken, Knowhow (im Umgang mit Höhenlage, Klimaschwankungen, Wetterextremen, Kälte, sommerlicher Überwärmung) und Nachhaltigkeit mit alpiner Bautradition und –kultur als Stärke unserer KMU und Region. Komplexer werdende Anforderungen in der Klima-, Energie- und Ökoeffizienz, neue Technologien mit raschem Wandel, ein wachsendes Wettbewerbsumfeld durch globale Bauindustrien/ Technologiehersteller erzeugen für das "Alpine Bauen" ein Spannungsfeld. KMU sind dabei gefordert, sich verstärkt mit Innovationsfragen zu neuen Produkt- und Dienstleistungsmöglichkeiten sowie neuartigen technischen Lösungen zu befassen, um ihre Rolle als Spezialist für „alpines Bauen“ zukunftsgerichtet weiterzuentwickeln, damit Wertschöpfung und Arbeitsplätze regional zu sichern und nicht verstärkt zu Drittleistern (zB nur Montage) degradiert zu werden. Besonders im wachsenden Markt der Sanierung von älteren Gebäuden bestehen für KMU Chancen, über neuartige Konzept-/ Technologiezugänge alpine Bausubstanz intelligent weiterzuentwickeln und bisher unberücksichtigte Nachfragestrukturen, wie die schrittweise Sanierung kleinerer Gebäude (zB Wohnen, Tourismus) mit jedoch ganzheitlichen Sanierungskonzepten als Nische zu besetzen. Fehlende Kompetenzen, Methoden und Knowhow dafür werden durch die Kooperation der regionalen Forschungseinrichtungen (Kompetenzbündelung zum "Alpinen Bauen") mit KMU über ein praxisnahes, am KMU-Bedarf ausgerichtetes Forschungs-/Transferprogramm "hands on" erarbeitet und vermittelt, wobei neben dem Fokus „schrittweise Sanierung“ die Kompetenz "Alpines Bauen" auch ganzheitlich, interdisziplinär mit Transfermaßnahmen und Netzwerkbildung weiterentwickelt wird (Wirtschaft- Forschung/ regionale Akteure, Governance) .

The project region has an economic focus in the construction sector. The grown core competence "alpine building" combines regional building materials, building techniques, know-how and sustainability with alpine building tradition and culture as strength of our SMEs and region. More complex requirements in terms of climate, energy and eco-efficiency, new technologies with rapid change, a growing competitive environment by global construction industries / technology manufacturers create a field of tension for "Alpine building". SMEs are challenged to focus on innovation issues related to new product and service opportunities, as well as novel technical solutions, to further develop their role as a specialist in "alpine building" in a forward-looking manner, ensuring value creation and jobs regionally. Particularly in the growing market for the renovation of older buildings, there are opportunities for SMEs to intelligently develop Missing competences, methods and know-how for this are developed and mediated by the cooperation of the regional research institutes with SMEs via a hands-on research / transfer program and networking is further developed (economic research / regional actors, governance).

Expected Results (DE): EI 2 - Grenzüberschreitende Cluster und sonstige Netzwerke (Anzahl)

Expected Outputs (DE): Das Projekt soll ein Transfernetzwerk zwischen Unternehmen, Branchen und Forschungseinrichtungen sowie regionalen Akteuren zum „alpinen Bauen“ aufbauen. Vor allem sollen KMU dabei im interregionalen Innovationssystem besser integriert und vernetzt werden.
