Übergeordnetes Ziel des Projektes ist der Aufbau eines grenzübergreifenden Schutzgebietsmanagements für die Biosphärenregion Berchtesgadener Land, Biosphärenpark Lungau sowie für Schutzgebiete des Mitterpinzgaus. In Summe sollen rund 25 Schutzgebiete der Projektregion fachlich betreut werden. Damit werden nationale und europaweit wichtige Arten und Lebensräume erhalten. Durch grenzüberschreitende Zusammenarbeit und fachlichen Austausch in Form dauerhafter Netzwerke sollen Potenziale gehoben, Synergien genutzt und gemeinsame Zielsetzungen erfolgreich umgesetzt werden. Zu den gemeinsamen Aufgaben zählen insbesondere die Umsetzung von Arten- und Biotopschutzprojekten, Aufbau und Vernetzung des Schutzgebietsmanagements, Errichtung und Einrichtung einer region. Saatgutvermehrung, die Adaptierung und Einrichtung zweier Wildbestäuberzentren sowie die Einrichtung einer Informationsstelle. Jedes der im Projekt involvierten Schutzgebiete verfügt zudem über ganz spezielle Alleinstellungsmerkmale im Zusammenwirken von Kulturlandschaft, Natur- und Artenschutz sowie Agrobiodiversität. Diese schutzgebietsspezifischen Eigenarten sollen im Rahmen des Vorhabens für die jeweiligen Schutzgebiete herausgearbeitet und im Netzwerk mit den anderen Schutzgebieten einen naturschutzfachlich und regionalwirtschaften Mehrwert erzielen. Unter dem Motto „Regionale Vielfalt säen“ stehen gefährdete Pflanzengesellschaften und artenreiche Ackerbegleitflora seltener Kultursorten sowie deren charakteristische Wildbestäuberinsekten im Fokus der Arten- und Biotopschutzprojekte. Die gezielte Vermehrung von regionalem Saatgut von Blumenwiesen, Ackerwildkräutern und Kultursorten in Verbindung mit der Initiierung von Arten- und Lebensraumschutzprojekten ist ein wichtiger Output des Projektes und trägt maßgeblich zur Steigerung der Biodiversität im Sinne der Ziele der Biodiversitätsstrategie 2020, des Biodiversitätsprogramms Bayern 2030 sowie zur Inwertsetzung des Verbundes der regionalen Schutzgebiete bei.

Description (EN):

The overall objective of the project is to establish a cross-border protected area management and technical support for the biosphere region Berchtesgadener Land, Lungau Biosphere Reserve and protected areas of Mitterpinzgau. Through cross-border cooperation and exchange of expertise in the form of permanent networks, synergies and expertise are exploited and common objectives successfully implemented. The joint tasks include, in particular, the implementation of species and biotope conservation projects, the establishment and networking of protected area management and the establishment of a region. Seed propagation, the adaptation and establishment of two wild pollinators and the establishment of an information center. Each of the protected areas involved in the project has special expertise and knowledge in the interaction of cultural landscape, nature and species protection as well as agrobiodiversity. These protected area-specific peculiarities are to be worked out within the scope of the project to achieve a nature conservation and regional economy added value. The targeted propagation of regional seeds of flowering meadows, field wild herbs and cultivars in conjunction with the initiation of species and habitat conservation projects is an important output of the project and contributes significantly to the increase of biodiversity in terms of the objectives of the Biodiversity Strategy 2020, the Biodiversity Program Bavaria 2030 and the valorisation of the Network of Regional Protected Areas.

Achievements (DE): Durch die Etablierung eines gemeinsamen Managements für die Schutzgebiete Biosphärenregion Berchtesgadener Land, Biosphärenpark Lungau sowie für die Schutzgebiete des Mitterpinzgaus in Salzburg und Oberbayern wird der Arten- und Biotopschutz gefördert.

Achievements (EN): By establishing a joint management for the protected areas of the Biosphere Region Berchtesgadener Land, Biosphere Park Lungau as well as for the protected areas of the Mitterpinzgau in Salzburg and Upper Bavaria, species and biotope protection is promoted.

Expected Results (DE): EI 4 - Erhöhung der Fläche der betreuten Europaschutzgebiete (km²)

Expected Outputs (DE): Mit dem Projekt werden 25 Schutzgebiete, darunter 4 Natura-2000 Gebiete (Natura-2000 Gebietsfläche: 293,07 ha ) nachhaltig betreut, die bisher noch kein Management aufgewiesen haben. Bis 2018 werden 6 Arten und 10 Biotopschutzprojekte initiiert
