Description (SL): Projektne dejavnosti so namenjene povečanju ozaveščanja priložnosti, ki jih ponujajo tehnološke inovacije za podjetja s področja, ki se ukvarjajo s kmetijstvatvom, ribištvaom in akvakultureo v Tržaškem zalivu ter na slovenskem in italijanskem delu Krasa. CLLD pristop vk projektu vključuje lokalne skupnosti pri ugotavljanju inovacijskih potreb podjetij. Le-te ustvarjalci inovacij neposredno vljučujejo v dejavnosti projekta in vjih peljejo po poteh, ki jih ponuja znanstveno in tehnološko raziskovanje.

Le comunità locali vengono interessate (approccio CLLD) nell’incoraggiare l’emersione dei fabbisogni di innovazione delle imprese. Read more Description (EN): The aim of the project is to raise awareness with regards to the opportunities by innovations in fishing, aquaculture and agriculture in the Gulf of Trieste and the Italian and Slovene Karst. Local communities are challenged (CLLD approach) to encourage companies to bring up their innovations needs. Companies are directly involved in the project activities, working side-by-side with the generators of innovations on the applications of the solutions proposed by the scientific and technological research.

The Project aimed to create joint partnerships between the parks and the scientific/technological institutions and business communities of the cross-border territory belonging to the agro-food, fisheries, and aquaculture sectors, by involving the local and coastal action Groups (LAG and FLAG). The aim has been to seek out those with the most suitable expertise for studying the issues of specific interest to the companies in the sectors of intervention, by analysing their innovation needs and defining the relative support areas and services. The geographical and economic context of the cross-border territory looked largely similar to that of the sectors of intervention. The operators on the agricultural side of the Karst area and on the sea side of the Gulf of Trieste have revealed similar needs. The products and methods of cultivation, fishing and breeding have proven to be quite similar on both sides of the border. Over the years, various opportunities have emerged for the collective and integrated management of resources and the identification of possible solutions. The activity has been carried out with an open innovation approach, using a bottom up methodology aimed at identifying the needs of the companies in the sector. These needs have been transferred to the subjects of the research and innovation through benchmarking activities and by flanking the companies with specific technological mediator figures. This has allowed elements of common interest to the companies to emerge, with the aim of identifying innovative product and process solutions capable of: a) developing new products and improving their quality and characteristics; b) increasing the shelf life of the food products; c) reducing production costs; d) developing more innovative production processes and improving their efficiency. A cross-border sectoral plan of technology transfer interventions has been established, promoting specific pilot projects and the creation of cross-border clusters, networks and partnerships.
Main results:
The project has achieved the objective of transferring the results of research and technological innovation to enterprises in the fisheries-aquaculture and agriculture sectors, active in the Italian and Slovenian cross border area of the Trieste Karst and the Gulf of Trieste.
Following a participatory approach (CLLD), the project partners carried out a careful territorial analysis, with the aim of bringing enterprises and local communities more familiar to technological innovation, identifying their concrete needs of companies and accompanying them, in a shared path, towards appropriate innovation responses. Workshops, such as and individual and collective meetings with companies provided an overall picture of the cross-border technological innovation needs of companies in the sectors concerned. The scientific and technological partners have identified possible innovation responses and those who can apply them.
Thanks to matching activities, carried out in Italy and Slovenia, companies and technological innovation stakeholders jointly assessed the practical viability of the proposed technological solutions. The results allowed the partners to develop 3 pilot activities for the implementation of innovative tools, with impacts on products and production processes.
The project has raised the awareness of companies on the possibilities offered by both technological innovation and collaboration with research, scientific and technological institutions. This has strengthened cooperation between the partners (which has also resulted in a collaboration agreement, also with a view to future planning) and established a wider network for the exchange of experience and results, improving links and aggregations between enterprises and the research and development system.

Read more Expected Outputs (SL): Priprava strateškega čezmejnega načrta za prenos tehnologij, izdelana po načelu od spodaj navzgor na osnovi ugotavljanja potreb in rešitev. Prenos rezultatov raziskav in tehnoloških rešitev v gospodarstvo - Z analitičnim teritorialnim ugotavljanjem tehnoloških potreb, ki jih zaznavajo podjetja in raziskovalno-razvojne ustanove, je predvideno ugotavljanje skupnih čezmejnih tehnološko-inovacijskih potreb za podjetja na obravnavanem področju. Predstavljalo bo podlago za usmerjanje projektnih aktivnosti in ugotavljanje smernic za sektorsko strategijo, usklajeno z vizijami, izoblikovanimi v okviru strategij in načrti za lokalni razvoj. Tako bo projekt predstavljal konkretno izvajanje pristopa CLLD, ki ga izvajajo lokalne akcijske skupine, in z odprtimi inovacijami pretvarjal potrebe, ki jih izraža gospodarstvo, v podporne aktivnosti in pilotne projekte za prenos tehnologij. Projekt predvideva seznanjanje podjetij z rezultati raziskav in bo omogočil, da se podjetja in delavci na področju ribolova in kmetijstva pripravijo na uvajanje tehnoloških inovacij, kar bo omogočilo povečanje števila delavcev v navedenih panogah, ki bodo sodelovali s centri za raziskave in z njimi povezanimi podjetji, s čimer bo omogočeno določanje inovativnih načinov za proizvode in proizvodne procese. Usmerjanje dejavnosti bo omogočilo vzpostavitev razširjene mreže deležnikov s področja raziskav in razvoja v okolju, ki spodbuja odprte inovacije in omogoča boljše povezovanje podjetij ter krepitev sistema raziskave-podjetja.

Trasferimento alle imprese dei risultati della ricerca e delle soluzioni tecnologiche - Tramite un’analitica mappatura territoriale delle necessità tecnologiche espresse dalle imprese e dei soggetti impegnati in ricerca e sviluppo, si prevede di raggiungere un quadro complessivo del fabbisogno transfrontaliero di innovazione tecnologica delle imprese settoriali (nel settore della Pesca e dell’agricoltura). Esso costituirà la base sia per indirizzare le attività progettuali, sia per evidenziare le linee guida di una strategia settoriale, che si allineerà alle vision delle strategie e dei Piani di sviluppo locale. Il progetto si porrà pertanto come momento di attuazione concreta dell’approccio CLLD perseguito dai Gruppi di Azione Locale, traducendo, con modalità di innovazione aperta, le necessità espresse dalle comunità imprenditoriali in attività di supporto e progetti pilota di trasferimento tecnologico. Il percorso disegnato dal Progetto per avvicinare le imprese ai risultati della ricerca porterà ad aumentare la predisposizione delle imprese e degli operatori di pesca, agricoltura verso l’innovazione tecnologica. Questo genererà un incremento nel numero degli operatori che collaboreranno con i centri di ricerca, e le imprese ad esse collegati individuando modalità innovative nei prodotti o nei processi produttivi. L’orientamento dell’attività avrà il risultato di favorire la costituzione di una rete diffusa di realtà di ricerca e sviluppo in un ambiente di innovazione aperta, accrescendo le aggregazioni di imprese e rafforzando il sistema ricerca-imprese.
