L’infrastructure, sur laquelle porte l’intervention, est née au Moyen-Age comme route commerciale, puis est devenue route militaire. Elle a été structurellement récupérée dans le cadre du précédent programme Alcotra 2007-2013. Le tracé, qui relie Limone Piemonte à la commune ligurienne de Triora (hameau Monesi), passant par le territoire français de la Haute Vallée du Roya et par l’Alta Valle Tanaro, a une signification transfrontalière évidente et permet de proposer un itinéraire de découverte qui, à partir du cœur des Alpes, descend vers la Mer Ligurienne.

Description (EN):

The infrastructure, on which the intervention is focused, is born during the mediaeval era as a trade road, before to become a military road. It has been structurally started again during the former ALCOTRA 2007-2013. The road connects Limone Piemonte to Trioria (Liguria) and pass by the French territories of the High Valley of Roia, and the High Valley of Tanaro. It’s an obvious cross-border signification and allow the project to purpose a discovery path which, from the heart of the Alpes, is going down toward the Liguria sea.

L’infrastruttura, sulla quale porta l’intervento, è nata nel Medioevo come strada commerciale, prima di divenire una strada militare. È stata strutturalmente ricuperata nell’ambito della programmazione ALCOTRA 2007-2013. La strada, che collega Limone Piemonte alla comune di Triora (Liguria) passa dal territorio francese dell’Alta Vallea della Roia e dall’Alta Valle Tanaro, ha una significazione transfrontaliera evidente e permette di proporre un itinerario di scoperta che, dal cuore delle Alpi, scende verso il mare della Liguria.

Expected Results (FR):

Le projet actuel, promu par le même partenariat qui a géré le précédent, met en valeur l’initiative de récupération déjà réalisée, en élargissant le champ d’action à l’ensemble des territoires traversés par la route, pour la réalisation d’un produit touristique transfrontalier géré de manière intégrée, qui favorise des formes d’utilisation durables. Les activités prévues sont l’achèvement des ouvrages structurels nécessaires à la pleine fonctionnalité du tracé principal et la structuration du système d’offre touristique du territoire, au moyen de l’organisation d’itinéraires qui s’étendent en éventail sur les principaux axes des vallées qui convergent vers le tracé.

Expected Results (EN):

The actual project, promoted by the same partners as the last programming, valorise the initiative of recuperation did during the last period, enlarging the scope of the action to the entire territory crossed by this road, to realize a touristic cross-border product managed in an integrated way, to facilitate some sustainable using forms. These activities represent the finalisation of structural works required for the full functionality of principal roads and the structuration of the touristic offer over the territory, within the organisation of itineraries which are extended on main axes of the valleys which are converging toward this road.

Expected Results (IT):

Il progetto attuale, promuto dai stessi partner che la programmazione precedente, valorizza l’iniziativa di ricuperazione già fatta, allargando il campo d’azione all’insieme dei territori attraversato dalla strada, per la realizzazione di un prodotto turistico transfrontaliero gestito in una maniera integrata, che favorisce delle forme d’uso sostenibile. Le attività rappresentano la finalizzazione di impianti strutturali necessari alla piena funzionalità della strada principale e la strutturazione del sistema di offerta turistica del territorio, tramite l’organizzazione di itinerari che si estendano sui principali assi delle valli che convergono verso la strada.
