Le città di Gap e Pinerolo presentano delle problematiche comune come poli di referenza della rete territoriale di montagne, caratterizzati da un’importante flusso di circolazione e di congestione, particolarmente sugli assi principali agli orari di punte. Perlopiù, non esiste ancora una vera sensibilizzazione attorno alla mobilità sostenibile, la macchina rimane il principale modo di trasporto usato. Il progetto mira a mettere in atto delle pratiche in circolo vertoso, ed a verificare se l’insieme delle azioni è efficace, fattibile trasferibile.

Les villes de Gap et Pinerolo présentent des problématiques communes en tant que pôles de référence de réseaux territoriaux de montagne, caractérisées par importants flux de circulation et de congestion, notamment sur les artères principales et aux heures de pointe. De plus, il n'y a pas encore de véritable sensibilisation autour la mobilité durable, la voiture restant le principal moyen de transport utilisé. Le projet vise à favoriser la transition vers de nouvelles formes de mobilité active, dans le respect de l'environnement, à mettre en place des pratiques en cercle vertueux et à vérifier si l'ensemble de ces actions est efficace, faisable et transférable.

Description (EN):

The cities of Gap and Pinerolo have some common problematics as reference pole of mountain territorial network, characterized by an important flux of circulation and congestion, especially during rush hours on main axes. Moreover, it doesn’t exist, until now, a real awareness raising on sustainable mobility, car remains the main transport used. The project aims to implement a virtuous circle, and check if the whole actions are efficient, realizable and transferable.

Achievements (EN):

General objective of the MUSIC project: promote the transition to active and environmentally friendly forms of mobility and initiate new common positive processes. Thanks to the MUSIC project, numerous actions have been carried out in Pinerolo and Gap. Among the actions carried out in Pinerolo, the following are worth mentioning: The initiatives taken have improved the availability of bicycles and public transport in the two cities and, thanks to a wide range of information, awareness-raising, training and communication activities, involve a large number of citizens, associations and especially young people, privileged beneficiaries of the project, as key actors in the sustainable development of virtuous behaviours. Pinerolo and Gap, reference centres of their respective mountain area networks, have jointly chosen a new way of moving and creating a common rhythm, thanks to the MUSIC project for safer and more conscious mobility. In fact, in the last three years a new urban model has emerged in the two cities, the result of a constant and fruitful dialogue between the two communities and a broad collective participation of the respective citizens. Together with MUSIK, a new, dynamic and young urban symphony was written by many hands, which actively involved citizens by combining various innovative instruments that come together every day and become protagonists on the everyday stage of a new way of moving and traveling, becoming full harmony with the environment. With the MUSIC project, Pinerolo and the Agglomération Gap-Tallard-Durance move in line with a joint score that needs to be experienced and shared by promoting the culture of active mobility and the principle of responsibility towards people, society and the environment, thus creating new values for future generations.

Expected Results (IT):

Il progetto guida delle azioni in modo integrato sull’offerta e la domanda di mobilità, migliorando l’offerta di percorsi ciclabili e dei trasporti in comune, e effettuando numerose azione di comunicazione, informazione, formazione e pianificazione partecipativa. Il target è soprattutto i giovani, come motore principale della diffusione generalizzata e permanente dei comportamenti virtuosi. La cooperazione transfrontaliera permette di sviluppare un sistema integrato di azione innovative grazie alla condivisione delle situazioni complementari sperimentate dai partners, e di valutarne la sua efficienza secondo i punti di vista diversi, e generando delle buone pratiche che diventeranno un punto di riferimento per il territorio transfrontaliero nei contesti simili.

Expected Results (FR):

Le projet mène des actions de manière intégrée sur l'offre et la demande de mobilité, en améliorant l'offre de parcours cyclables et de transports en commun, et en effectuant de nombreuses actions de communication, information, formation et planification participative. Il cible notamment les jeunes, en tant que moteur principal d'une diffusion généralisée et permanente de comportements vertueux. La coopération transfrontalière permet de développer un système intégré d'actions innovatrices grâce au partage de situations complémentaires expérimentées par les partenaires puis d'en évaluer son efficacité selon des points de vue différents, et en générant de bonnes pratiques qui deviendront un repère pour le territoire transfrontalier et pour les contextes similaires.

Expected Results (EN):

The project leads actions, in an integrated method, on the mobility offer and supply, bettering the offer of cycling and public transports itineraries, and realizing a lot of actions of communication, information, formation, and participative management. The main target is the young public, as the principal motor of a permanent and globalized diffusion of virtue comportments. The cross-border cooperation allows to develop an integrated system of innovative actions thanks to the sharing of complementary situations experimented by partners and, by the evaluation of their efficacity according to some point of views, and generating good practices which will become a landmark for cross-border territory and for similar contexts.
