In the following of the strong and long cooperation between both universities (Savoy Mont Blanc and Vale d’Aosta), a dooble Master’s Degree « Development and Internationalisation of Companies and Territories” has been created in 2015. Following this, tourism and mountain Economy became a central thematic in the optic to enforce cross-border relations, the creation and diffusion of knowledges on the common territory. FEAST project groups all these visions thorough two main objectives: • The constitution of a cross-border centre for tourism and Mountain Economy (CT-TEM) composed of an Italian and a French structure, which have as objective to bring closer formations in University or in continue, academic research applied to Mountain Economy. • Reinforce the dooble Master’s Degree DIET. This cursus aims to form well integrated graduated in the cross-border context, in order to face challenges of transnational economy and alpine regions thanks to an innovative how-know and professionalising, of reinforced mobility aides. These students will be an asset for every professional actors and companies which are looking to remain competitive and renew their experiences. Information added on 2021-02-02, regarding the mitigation of the effects of COVID-19 (the coronavirus pandemic that started in 2019): In order to deal with the impacts of the COVID-19 crisis, the project FEAST implemented two new activities. They could be funded by money saved on the implementation of some activities that took place remotely instead of face-to-face as well as savings due to a smaller number of external services. The two new reported activities are: 1) Phone survey on tourism on the cross-border territory (Aoste Valley, Savoy and Upper Savoy) and results dissemination. Estimated budget 40.000€. 2) Considering the low number of registrations in the double master’s degree DIET for the 2020-2021-year: communication activities around the Master DIET’s website in order to reach a more important number of registrations for September 2020. Estimated budget 8.000€.

Dans la continuité d’une collaboration forte et de longue date entre les deux universités (Savoie Mont Blanc et Vallée d’Aoste), un double diplôme de Master de « Développement et Internationalisation des entreprises et des territoires » a été créé en 2015. Par la suite, le tourisme et l’économie de montagne se sont imposées comme des thématiques opportunes dans l’optique de renforcer les relations transfrontalières et la création et diffusion du savoir sur ce territoire commun. Le projet FEAST regroupe donc toutes ces visions à travers deux objectifs principaux : La constitution d’un centre transfrontalier sur le tourisme et l’économie de montagne (CT-TEM) composé d’une structure italienne et une française, ayant pour objectif de rapprocher les formations universitaires, formations continues, et la recherche académique appliquée à l’économie de montagne. Le renforcement du double diplôme de Master DIET. Ce cursus vise à former des diplômés bien intégrés dans ce contexte transfrontalier, pouvant relever les défis des économies transnationales et des régions alpines grâce à des savoirs faire innovants et professionnalisants, et des aides à la mobilité renforcées. Ces étudiants seront un atout pour tout acteur professionnel et entreprises qui cherchent à rester compétitifs et à renouveler leurs compétences. Afin de faire face aux impacts de la crise du COVID-19, le projet FEAST a mis en œuvre deux nouvelles activités. Elles ont pu être financées grâce à des économies réalisées sur les modalités de mise en œuvre de certaines activités qui se sont déroulées à distance et non en présentiel ainsi qu’à des économies dues à un nombre inférieur de services externes. Les deux nouvelles activités déclarées sont : 1) Enquête téléphonique sur le tourisme sur le territoire transfrontalier (Vallée d’Aoste, Savoie et Haute-Savoie) et dissémination des résultats. Budget prévisionnel 40.000€. 2) Compte tenu du faible nombre d’inscriptions au Double Master DIET pour l’année 2020-2021 : actions de communication autour du site internet du Master afin d’atteindre un nombre plus important d’étudiants inscrits pour la rentrée de septembre 2020. Nella continuità della collaborazione forte e duratura tra le due università (Savoie Mont Blanc et Valle d’Aosta), è stato creato un doppio diploma di laurea magistrale in Economia e politiche del territorio e dell'impresa nel 2015. Successivamente, il turismo e l’economia di montagna sono state individuate come tematiche pertinenti allo scopo di rafforzare le relazioni transfrontaliere e la creazione e diffusione della conoscenza su questo territorio comune. Il progetto FEAST raggruppa queste visioni attraverso due obiettivi principali: La costituzione di un centro transfrontaliero sul turismo e l’economia di montagna (CT-TEM) composto da una struttura italiana e una francese, con l’obiettivo di avvicinare le formazioni universitarie, la formazione continua e la ricerca accademica applicata all’economia di montagna. Il consolidamento del doppio diploma (DIET). Questo curriculum intende formare laureati ben integrati al contesto transfrontaliero, che possano affrontare le sfide dei sistemi economici transnazionali e delle regioni alpine grazie a “savoir-faire” innovativi e professionalizzanti e al sostegno potenziato alla mobilità. Questi studenti saranno un vantaggio per tutti gli attori professionali e le imprese che cercano di mantenersi competitivi e di rinnovare le loro competenze. Al fine di affrontare gli impatti della crisi COVID-19, il progetto FEAST ha implementato due nuove attività. Hanno potuto essere finanziate grazie ad economie realizzate sulle modalità di implementazione di alcune attività che si sono svolte da remoto e non in presenza oltre che economie grazie ad un numero inferiore di servizi esterni. Le due nuove attività dichiarate sono: 1) Indagine telefonica sul turismo nel territorio transfrontaliero (Valle d’Aosta, Savoia e Alta-Savoia) e disseminazione dei risultati. Bilancio previsionale 40.000€. 2) Tenuto conto del scarso numero di iscrizioni alla doppia laurea magistrale DIET per l’anno 2020-2021: azioni di comunicazione attorno al sito internet del Master al fine di raggiungere un maggior numero di studenti iscritti per settembre 2020. Objectives of the project are concretised by to type of activities: Activities of the Cross-Border Centre for Tourism and Mountain Economy (CT TEM): • Exchange workshops and summer university between students, researchers, professionals around main thematic of tourism and mountain economy. • Program of cross-border research involving researchers, students and socio-professional on priority economical axes (economic transition of the middle mountain, construction of network of actors around a cross-border offer…). Expectations of results on these activities are especially economic actors and publics: new competences to companies, formation of actors, consolidation of the link between the world of research and professionals in a cross-border context, especially for the exchange of good practices. In the context of the development of the double Master’s Degree DIET. • Focus on internship and placement (first job): facilitation of young graduated insertion to make them competent actors, close to the reality of cross-border territory. • Team workshop will be developing mixing French and Italian students to realize some projects for institutions acting on cross-border territory. • Mobility economical sustain are prevised to facilitate the student access to a study year in Aosta; . These activities have the expected objective to form graduated people in grade to answer to cross-border challenges (economy and tourism) with innovative competences, oriented toward the professional. The scope is to put together some cross-border knowledges with a practical application, of service to territorial actors, to create a synergie students-professionals.

Expected Results (FR):

Les objectifs du projet se concrétisent par deux ensembles d’activités : Activités du Centre transfrontalier Tourisme et Economie de Montagne (CT TEM) • Ateliers d’échanges et universités d’été entre étudiants, chercheurs, professionnels autour de thématiques majeures du tourisme et de l’économie de montagne aujourd’hui (développement durable, mobilité…). • Programmes de recherche transfrontaliers impliquant chercheurs, étudiants et socio-professionnels sur des axes économiques prioritaires (transition économique de la moyenne montagne, construction d’un réseau d’acteurs autour d’une offre transfrontalière…). Les attentes de résultats sur ces activités concernent principalement les acteurs économiques et publics : apport de nouvelles compétences aux entreprises, formation des acteurs, consolidation du lien entre monde de la recherche et professionnels dans un contexte transfrontalier, notamment par l’échange de bonnes pratiques. Dans le cadre du développement du double diplôme de master DIET • L’accent est mis sur les stages et le placement (premier emploi) : facilitation de l’insertion des jeunes diplômés pour en faire des acteurs compétents au fait de la réalité du territoire transfrontalier. • Des ateliers en équipe sont mis en place avec une configuration mixte d’étudiants français et italiens pour réaliser des projets pour le compte d’institutions opérant sur le territoire transfrontalier. • De nouveaux enseignements sont développés avec les chercheurs du CT TEM. • Des aides à la mobilité sont prévues pour faciliter l’accès des étudiants à une année d’études à Aoste. Ces activités ont l’objectif attendu de former des diplômés capables de répondre aux enjeux transfrontaliers (économie, tourisme) avec des compétences innovantes et axées vers le professionnel. Il s’agit de mettre en commun des savoirs transfrontaliers tout en les mettant en pratique, au service des acteurs du territoire, pour créer une synergie étudiants-professionnels.

Expected Results (IT):

Gli obiettivi del progetto si concretizzano in due gruppi di attività: Le attività del Centro Transfrontaliero Turismo e Economia di Montagna (CT TEM). Laboratori di scambio e summer schools tra studenti, ricercatori e professionisti, relativi alle tematiche attuali di maggiore interesse riguardanti il turismo e l’economia di montagna (sviluppo sostenibile, mobilità). Programmi di ricerca transfrontalieri che coinvolgono ricercatori, studenti, professionisti del sociale su assi economici prioritari (transizione economica della montagna di media altitudine, costruzione di una rete d’attori intorno ad un’offerta transfrontaliera). Le aspettative di risultato di queste attività impattano principalmente gli attori economici e pubblici attraverso l’apporto di nuove competenze alle imprese, la formazione degli attori, il rafforzamento dei vincoli tra mondo della ricerca e professioni in un contesto transfrontaliero, in particolare tramite lo scambio di buone pratiche. Nell’ambito del consolidamento del doppio diploma di laurea Magistrale. L’accento è posto sui tirocini e sul placement (ricerca del primo impiego): agevolazione dell’inserimento dei giovani laureati per farne attori competenti e consapevoli della realtà del territorio transfrontaliero Dei laboratori in gruppo sono organizzati con una configurazione mista di studenti italiani e francesi volti a realizzare progetti per conto d’istituzioni operanti sul territorio transfrontaliero Dei nuovi corsi sono sviluppati con i ricercatori del CT TEM. Un sostegno alla mobilità è previsto per facilitare l’accesso degli studenti ad un anno di studio dall’altra parte della frontiera. Queste attività hanno l’obiettivo di formare dei laureati in grado di rispondere alle sfide transfrontaliere con delle competenze innovative e orientate al mondo professionale. Si tratta di mettere in comune il sapere transfrontaliero mettendolo in pratica al servizio degli attori del territorio, per generare una sinergia virtuosa tra studenti e professionisti.
