Description (EN): The project reduces inequalities in terms of health status of local population by improving access to quality health care - primary care / outpatient care in difficult accessible/remote areas of the border region through introducing a telemedicine in cross-border region.

Expected Results (EN):

The results of the project involve improved access to primary medical care for people living in difficult accessible/remote areas; capacity building of medical personnel (doctors and nurses) in cross-border region for telemedicine services provision; improved coordination, prevention, surveillance and early warning and control of contagious, infectious and parasitic diseases with cross-border nature; renovated and equipped municipal health infrastructure; introduction of a system for telemedicine able to provide primary health care to people with disabilities, chronically ill patients with difficulty in movement, pensioners and people living in difficult to access and remote locations.
