Description (EN):

The objective is to develop the design documentation for the Subotica-Bácsalmás-Baja section (a section formerly not covered by design documentations) of the Szeged-Subotica-Bácsalmás-Baja railway line on the basis of the existing feasibility study, and with the same technical content as the Szeged-Subotica section. Currently there is no traffic whatsoever conducted on the Subotica-Bácsalmás section, and therefore the urban development plans for the towns and villages affected by the railway lin e shall be created. With the future construction of the railway line in mind members of the partnership shall provide national and European decision makers competent in the transportation segment with sufficient information in the form of publicatio ns. For a number of years, aided by professional support from the railway companies and the competent ministries, members of the project partnership have been working together in close cooperation on the development of this railway line.

Expected Outputs (EN):

3, The national and European decision makers are informed in details about the need of the Subotica-Baja railway line. The inhabitants of the HU-SRB CB region get line on the railway development and get the contacts if they require further details. 2, The technical documentation of the Subotica-Bácsalmás-Baja railway line with the modification of the spatial plan is getting ready and designs are being supervised by the authority. 1, Continous consultation will be made with the railway companies, with the settlements next to the planned railway line and the interested professional organizations whose involvement and decisions are necessary. 0, Project management activities.
