Description (EN):

The main objectives of the project is to catalyze the cross border industrial cooperation of the two largest academic centers of the region by common methodology and service portfolio developments that enable the research institutions to develop new technologies, processes, prototypes and products directly applicable in the industry. We will achieve this through the establishment of Knowledge and Technology Transfer Platform for knowledge sharing and utilization/exploitation between the two regi ons; supporting the young researchers of the programme area to become entrepreneurs through promoting the establishment of start-up and spin-out companies; and supporting innovative SMEs through methodology development of business management services and trainings. Young researchers and start-up companies play an increasingly important role in the creation of innovative products. The ideas and skills, the abilities for their physical and technical realization are present, but the market impleme ntation of developments, the capability of adjustment to circumstances and the reactions are missing as a result of the lack of necessary entrepreneurial knowledge and experience. Entering large markets can be a too big step for start-up companies. During the project we will contribute to the better business utilization of the technical/scientific ideas, products and technologies created in the region. By supporting the establishment and development of start-ups the project will improve skills and entrepreneurial competences of the companies to boost innovation and development in the region. We focus on young researchers, start-up teams and SMEs in the early stage of development as our target group meanwhile our methodology will be applic able for every kind of enterprise. The outputs of the project will be a standardized tools compilation for mentoring and business development and open training sessions to provide knowledge about business and innovation management.
