The Historical Archives Senta and The National Heritage Park Ópusztaszer are applying with a 24 month long project idea in the 2nd call for proposals of the Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia Programme (PA: Encouraging tourism and cultural heritage coo peration, Action 3.2: Cooperation in the fields of cultural, community events, sport, leisure, nature protection) to reveal and collect those artifacts of cultural history that link the common geographic area of the programme and action. Based on an intergrated joint bilateral institutional project management, implementation and scientific cooperation, the projet will include publication of four books (two source books based on in-depth, thorough research of the arhives documents, and two collec tion of studies about the researched material and agricultural cultural heritage), numerous PR-activities and publicity products (roll-up, travelling exhibition, interactive website and a „living database”), restoration works on agricultural power ma chines, setting up an information stone istallation, construction of exhibition building for the agricultiral power machines. The purpose of the project is to identify and promote through different events, publicity events, pr-materials, publication s and youth camps the undocumented agricultural cultural values that will be identified by experts of cultural history – archive workers, ethnographers, antropologists and historians. Old, undocumented artifacts will receive a firm, scientific backgr ound which will give a complete picture of the regions agricultural life, and social background – a field that has not been presented thoroughly enough. The outcomes will be the broader, enriched scope of activity and content of the partner instituti ons, an updated map of common agricultural cultural heritage and the higher awareness of cultural heritage among citizens.
