For people living in “Bidasoa-Sud Pays Basque” cross-border territory, SMARTMOB wants to study, design, develop and integrate intelligent and sustainable mobility solutions in a logic of open innovation making the user actor of solutions of tomorrow. In this near area, SMARTMOB wants to provide solutions to understand the movements of cross-border citizens, propose them solutions and act for a more virtuous mobility. According to "Transfermuga" study carried out by Eurorégion Aquitaine-Euskadi, the knowledge of cross-border mobility offer by the public is very low. In addition of undeniable environmental impact, the lack of information encourages car use which is a source of road congestion and makes travelers' travel uncomfortable or insecure. SMARTMOB will work for the realization of travel plans on targeted sites and will generate a Cross-border Strategic Approach for sustainable cross-border mobility in this territory. With this expertise and existing studies in this field, SMARTMOB will invest in the deployment of concrete actions responding to the needs of cross-border citizens (workers, inhabitants, tourists ...). Working on the cross-border mobility it is ignored administrative boundaries of our municipalities to move towards a sustainable cross-border transport policy.

SMARTMOB pretende estudiar, diseñar, desarrollar e integrar soluciones de movilidad inteligentes y sostenibles para las personas en el territorio transfronterizo Bidasoa Sud Pays Basque en una lógica de open innovación que permita al usuario intervenir en las soluciones del mañana. En este territorio de proximidad, SMARTMOB pretende aportar soluciones para entender los desplazamientos de los ciudadanos transfronterizos, proponerles soluciones y actuar así en aras de una movilidad más virtuosa. Según el estudio transfermuga realizado por la Euroregion Aquitaine-Euskadi, el conocimiento que los distintos públicos tienen de la oferta de movilidad transfronteriza es bastante reducido. Además del innegable impacto medioambiental, la falta de información propicia el uso individual del vehículo provocando la congestión de los ejes viales y convirtiendo los desplazamientos de los viajeros en inconfortables y hasta poco seguros. SMARTMOB promoverá la realización de planes de desplazamiento en espacios datos y generará un Esquema Estratégico Transfronterizo en aras de una movilidad transfronteriza sostenible en este territorio. Gracias a los estudios realizados en la materia, SMARTMOB se centrará en el despliegue de acciones que respondan a las necesidades de los ciudadanos transfronterizos. Trabajar la oferta de movilidad a escala transfronteriza supone hacer abstracción de los límites administrativos para ir hacía una política de transportes transfronterizos sostenible.

SMARTMOB a pour volonté d’étudier, de concevoir, de développer et d’intégrer des solutions de mobilités intelligentes et durables, des personnes sur le territoire transfrontalier Bidasoa Sud Pays Basque dans une logique d'open innovation rendant l'usager acteur des solutions de demain. Sur ce territoire de proximité SMARTMOB souhaite apporter des solutions pour comprendre les déplacements des citoyens transfrontaliers, leur proposer des solutions et ainsi agir pour une mobilité plus vertueuse. D’après l’étude transfermuga réalisée par l’Eurorégion Aquitaine-Euskadi la connaissance de l’offre de mobilité transfrontalière par les publics est très faible. Outre l’indéniable d’impact environnemental, le manque d’information favorise l’autosolisme, source de congestionnement des axes routiers et rend les déplacements des voyageurs inconfortables voir insécurisés. SMARTMOB œuvrera pour la réalisation de plans de déplacement sur des lieux ciblés et engendrera un Schéma Stratégique Transfrontalier pour une mobilité transfrontalière durable sur ce territoire. Riche de cette expertise et des études existantes en la matière, SMARTMOB investira dans le déploiement d’actions répondant aux besoins des citoyens transfrontaliers. Travailler l’offre de mobilité à l’échelle transfrontalière c’est faire abstraction des limites administratives pour se diriger vers une politique de transport transfrontalière durable.
