El objetivo del proyecto es desarrollar, demostrar y difundir nuevos recursos, herramientas y aplicaciones lingüísticas innovadoras que mejoren el nivel de digitalización del aragonés, del euskera y del occitano. Resultados esperados: 1 Hoja de ruta de digitalización del aragonés, 5 nuevos recursos lingüísticos (Occitano: Léxico monolingüe y bilingüe occitano/otras lenguas, Análisis morfosintáctico y sintáctico; Euskera: reconocimiento de voz) 8 herramientas lingüísticas desarrolladas o mejoradas (Síntesis vocal occitano, aragonés y euskera de Iparralde, Detector textual occitano y de variantes del occitano, Mejora traducción automática francés-occitano, español-euskera, español-aragonés. 6 Aplicaciones innovadoras desarrolladas: Barra descargable traducción automática para sitios web, Aplicación traducción automática de CMS, App de traducción automática entre lenguas de los Pirineos, Manual Digital del Euskera Unificado, Diccionario On-line del Aragonés, Buscador web semántico multilingüe. 2 Acuerdos Universidad – Empresa para la comercialización de soluciones. La colaboración transfronteriza permitirá transferir conocimientos y desarrollar soluciones lingüísticas con potencial de mercado, que beneficien a profesionales de las lenguas y faciliten el acceso público multilingüe a contenidos y avanzar en el desarrollo de un clúster transfronterizo de tecnologías lingüísticas.

Description (EN):

The goal of the project is to develop, test and disseminate new innovative linguistic resources, tools and solutions for a better digitalization level of the Aragonian, Basque and Occitan (O) languages. Expected results: 1 Road Map for Aragonian Digitalization. 5 new linguistic resources: Occitan: monolingual and bilingual lexicons and morphosyntactic and syntactic analysis; Basque: speech recognition. 8 linguistic tools developed: Aragonian, Iparralde Basque and Occitan vocal synthesis, Occitan and variants textual detector, improvement of automatic translation of Aragonian and Basque to Spanish and Occitan-French. 6 innovative solutions developed: Downloadable bar for automatic translation on browsers, automatic translation tools for CMS, automatic translation app for three languages, Unified Basque Digital Handbook, Aragonian online Dictionary, multilingual semantic search browser. 2 University-Business collaboration agreements for commercialization. Cross-border cooperation will allow the transfer of knowledge and to develop linguistic solutions with a potential market uptake, benefitting language professionals, easing access to multilingual contents, and fostering the development of a cross-border language tech cluster.

L’objectif du projet est de développer, démontrer et diffuser de nouvelles ressources, de nouveaux outils et des applications linguistiques innovantes permettant d’améliorer le niveau de numérisation de l’aragonais, du basque et de l’occitan. Résultats attendus: 1 Feuille de route de numérisation de l’aragonais, 5 nouvelles ressources linguistiques (Occitan: lexique monolingue et bilingue occitan/autres langues. Analyse morphosyntaxique et syntaxique; Basque : reconnaissance vocale), 8 outils linguistiques développés (synthèse vocale occitan, aragonais et basque du Pays basque français, détecteur textuel occitan et variantes de l’occitan, amélioration de la traduction automatique français-occitan, espagnol-basque, espagnol-aragonais), 6 applications innovantes développées: barre téléchargeable de traduction automatique pour sites web, application de traduction automatique de CMS, App de traduction automatique entre les langues des Pyrénées, Manuel numérique du basque unifié, dictionnaire en-ligne de l’aragonais, moteur de recherche web sémantique multilingue, 2 accords université-entreprise pour la commercialisation de solutions. La collaboration transfrontalière permettra de transférer des connaissances et de développer des solutions linguistiques potentiellement commercialisables pour aider les professionnels des langues et faciliter l’accès public multilingue aux contenus en progressant dans le développement d’un cluster transfrontalier de technologies linguistiques.

Achievements (ES):

El 18 de junio de 2021, en el marco del Congreso Transfronterizo Linguatec, los miembros del consorcio Linguatec procedieron a la lectura y firma del manifiesto fundacional de la red de excelencia en inteligencia artificial para la construcción de una infraestructura lingüística transfronteriza, acompañados por el alcalde de Donostia, Eneko Goia. En su trayectoria de tres años, los grupos de investigación reunidos en torno al proyecto LINGUATEC ha trabajado conjuntamente en el desarrollo de recursos y herramientas lingüísticas entre las diferentes lenguas, así como en el desarrollo de nuevas aplicaciones online, para así impulsar el uso de las tres lenguas y dotar a las personas usuarias del acceso a contenido multilingüe. El nivel de desarrollo logrado en el proyecto ha animado a las instituciones pertenecientes al consorcio a dar un paso estratégico: crear una red de excelencia en inteligencia artificial, para crear una infraestructura lingüística transfronteriza.

Achievements (EN):

On 18 June 2021, in the framework of the Linguatec Transboundary Congress, the members of the Linguatec consortium read and signed the founding manifesto of the network of excellence in artificial intelligence for the construction of a cross-border language infrastructure, accompanied by the mayor of Donostia, Eneko Goia. In their three-year trajectory, the research groups gathered around the Linguatec project have worked together in the development of linguistic resources and tools between different languages, as well as in the development of new online applications, in order to promote the use of the three languages and provide users with access to multilingual content. The level of development achieved in the project has encouraged the institutions belonging to the consortium to take a strategic step: create a network of excellence in artificial intelligence, to create a cross-border language infrastructure.
