TRANS-GARONA a pour objectif de développer les déplacements effectués à vélo (quotidien, loisirs) en améliorant l’offre cyclable transfrontalière et l’intermodalité le long de la Garonne. Cet objectif sera atteint grâce à 3 actions phares: - Aménager un parcours cyclable Garonne longeant le fleuve depuis Toulouse jusqu’à ses sources en Espagne. Des tronçons de ce parcours ont déjà été aménagés par le Cd31 et le CG Aran. En réalisant le maillon manquant de 21 km, entre Fronsac et Vielha,TRANS-GARONA va permettre d’ici 2021 de parachever ce parcours et lui donner une portée européenne, - favoriser l’intermodalité par une meilleure coordination des correspondances franco-espagnoles des bus, trains, vélos, et ainsi, proposer des vraies alternatives à la voiture dans des déplacements quotidiens, mais également pour découvrir les richesses patrimoniales et naturelles des territoires, - créer un produit «Garonne à vélo» sous un label commun proposant aux visiteurs comme aux habitants des offres complémentaires allant du "vélo loisirs" au "vélo sportif". TRANS-GARONA est enfin la première pierre d’une ambition plus large, celle de connecter à terme ce parcours Garonne: - Au canal des deux mers V80 et ainsi relier l’estuaire aux sources de la Garonne, - aux EV6, EV3, EV16, et ainsi offrir une nouvelle euro-véloroute en plein cœur du massif pyrénéen, - aux itinéraires transCatalunya, à l’EV8 et à la V81, pour, à terme, réfléchir à un schéma cyclable transfrontalier Pyrénées.

TRANS-GARONA tiene como objetivo de desarrollar excursiones en bicicleta (todos los días, recreativo) para mejorar las ofertas de bicicletas y proporcionar una intermodalidad a lo largo de la Garona. Esto se logrará a través 3 acciones clave: - Crear un carril bici a lo largo del río desde el centro de Toulouse hasta sus fuentes españolas. Secciones del carril bici ya han sido construidas por Cd31 y CGA. Al darse cuenta el eslabón perdido de 21 km entre Fronsac y Vielha, situada a ambos lados de la frontera franco-española, TRANS-GARONA permitirá para el año 2021 completar este curso y darle una dimensión europea. - Mejorar la intermodalidad mediante la coordinación de autobuses por correspondencia, trenes, conexiones de bicicletas y por lo tanto ofrecer alternativas reales al coche en los desplazamientos diarios, también para descubrir el patrimonio y los recursos naturales de los territorios . - Crear un producto "Garona en bici" bajo una etiqueta común que ofrece tanto a visitantes y residentes ofertas complementarias que van desde la "bici recreativa" a la "bici deportiva". TRANS-GARONA es, finalmente, la primera piedra de una ambición más amplia para conectar el camino de la Garona: -el canal “des 2 mers” V80 y así conectan la ría a las fuentes de la Garona -el EV6, EV3, EV16, y ofrecen una nueva ruta Euro-bicicamino en el corazón del macizo -a los itinerarios transCatalunya, la EV8 y la V81, para al fin reflejarlos en un esquema ciclable transfronterizo Pirineos.

Description (EN):

TRANS-GARONA aims to develop cycling journeys (daily, leisure) by improving cross-border cycling and intermodality along the Garonne. This objective will be achieved through three flagship actions: - build a Garonne cycling path along the river from the heart of Toulouse to its sources in Spain. Sections of this bike path have already been developed by the Cd31 and the CG Aran. By realizing the missing link of 21 km between Fronsac and Vielha, TRANS-GARONA will make it possible to complete this journey by 2021 and to give it an European value, - promote intermodality by better coordinating the Franco-Spanish correspondences of buses, trains and bicycles, and thus propose real alternatives to the car in daily trips, also to discover the patrimonial and natural wealth of the territories, - create a "Garonne in bike" product under a common label proposing visitors and residents complementary offers ranging from "Bicycle leisure" to "sport bike". TRANS-GARONA is finally the first stone of a wider ambition, that of finally connecting this Garonne course: - to the Canal des 2 Mers V80 and thus connect the estuary to the sources of the Garonne, - to the EV6, EV3, EV16, and thus offer a new euro-bike in the heart of the Pyrenees, - to the TransCatalunya bike routes, the EV8 and V81 to reflect in the future about a cross-border cycle plan Pyrenees.
