Description (EN):

The main project results will be constructed water supply system in the Berovo municipality, reconstructed park infrastructure in Sandanski, generated know-how for increasing the quality of the local tourist services and exchange and partnership between the two municipalities. The main goals of the project are two investment activities: One of them is water supply system in the tourist settlement “Berovo Lake” in Municipality of Berovo and reconstruction of two water localities in the park “St. Vrac” in Municipality of Sandanski. In Municipality of Berovo the project includes construction of water supply system for the entire tourist settlement that includes: wastewater plant, water reservoir and pumping station to supply the raw water from Berovo lake to the wastewater plant. The realization of this project will provide generating knowledge to enhance the quality of tourism services and exchange of knowledge between the two border municipalities. Through the project will be designed mobile application for promotion tourist facilities and facilities in both municipalities and contemporary information Pink "pop up promotion" As part of the project activities are planned to be organized seminars to generate ideas for improvement of tourism services, information and communication activities.

Главни резултати од проектот ќе бидат: изграден систем за водоснабдување во општина Берово, реконструирана парк инфраструктура во Сандански, генерирани знаења за подобрување на квалитетот на локалните туристички услуги и размена и соработка меѓу двете општини. Главана цел на проектот се две инвестициски активности од кои еден е водоснабдителен систем на туристичката населба „Беровско езеро“ во општина Берово и реконструкција на два водни локалитети во паркот "Свети Врач" во Сандански. Проектот во општина Берово опфаќа изградба на водоснабдителен систем за целата туристичка населба кој вклучува: пречистителна станица, резервоар за вода и пумпна станица за довод на суровата вода од Беровско езеро до пречистителната станица.Со реализацијата на овој проект ќе се обезбеди генерирање на знаења за зголемување на квалитетот на туристичките услуги и размена на знаења помеѓу двете погранични општини. Преку проектот ќе бида креирана мобилна апликација за промовирање на туристичките капацитети и содржини во двете општини и современ информативен пинкт "pop up promtion" Како дел од проектните активности е предвидено организирање на семенари за генерирање на идеи за подобрување на туристичките услуги, информации и комуникациски активности.

Основния резултат по проекта ще бъде изградената система за водоснабдяване в община Берово, реконструираната инфраструктура на парка в Сандански, генерираното „ноу-хау“ за повишаване качеството на местните туристически услуги и обмен и партньорството между двете общини. Основните цели на проекта са двете инвестиционни дейности: Едната от тях е системата за водоснабдяване в туристическото селище "Берово езеро" в Община Берово и реконструкцията на две водни местности в парка "Св. Врач "в община Сандански. В Община Берово по проекта се включва изграждането на водоснабдителна система за цялото туристическото селище, което включва: станция за отпадъчни води, резервоар за вода и помпена станция за снабдяване на непречистената вода от Берово езеро до пречиствателната станция. Реализацията на този проект ще се осъществи чрез генериране на знания, с цел да се повиши качеството на туристическите услуги и обмен на знания между двете трансгранични общини. Чрез проекта ще бъде проектирано мобилно приложение за промоция на туристическите обекти и съоръжения в двете общини и съвременна информационен метод тип "изскачаща реклама" Като част от дейностите по проекта са планирани да бъдат организирани семинари за генериране на идеи за подобряване на туристическите услуги, информационни и комуникационни дейности.

Achievements (EN):

Cross border impact supports sustainable development along the EU’s external borders, helps reducing differences in living standards and addressing common challenges across these borders. With this project the main objective of cross border cooperation – addressing the common challenges with the accent of the environment, was fulfilled. The cooperation between these two municipalities included in the implementation has least more than 2- years. This project is not the first, and it won’t be the last one. The project management team successfully operated during the implementation, and has shown maturity when it comes to implementing a project like this. Both Berovo and Sandanski was experiencing difficulties in adapting their infrastructure to the demand of the tourist flow. With the water treatment plant and the new facilities in the park, the seminars for exchange of ideas, good practices and IT products, the common tourist product is now upgraded both infrastructural and conceptually. The new facilities will attract more entrepreneurs to invest in the development of tourism, and will increase the tourist flow.

The source of evidence are pictures from the objects and the final reports from the supervision.
