Description (EN):

The Project “Integrated Innovative Systems for Roma Education and Labour Inclusion: Support to National Policies for Inclusion of Roma and Marginalized Groups in Education and Labour Market through Promoting Innovative Systems, Integrating Mainstream and Community Development Interventions” is developed by NGOs from Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania in order to address inefficiency and substantial gaps of Roma social inclusion interventions in the Region. In large-scale the Project will contribute to the implementation of the priorities of the Cooperation Programme for Social cohesion, and for good governance of the Danube Region. The thematic focus of the Project corresponds to Priority 9 “People & Skills” the Seed Money Facility projects, and in particular to the Topic 2: “Promoting inclusive education and labour markets, including second-chance education, focusing on marginalised communities (e.g. Roma)”. The Project will identify and tackle the obstacles to inclusive education systems and labour marketsл It will develop innovative systems to increase the inclusiveness of the state policies through integrating the mainstream measures with community development approach aimed at mobilizing the internal community potential. It is focused on improving educational outcomes and labour integration of isolated Roma communities and marginalized groups through integrated holistic measures, addressing both the communities and educational and labour environments, and involving all relevant stakeholders in multi-level partnerships and joint actions. It will promote national partnerships for joint action between public authorities (national and local) and civil society stakeholders, including target communities, and hereby will help enhancing the transnational cooperation between the key actors in these partnerships from the target countries in the Danube Region.
