CAMP-sump vise à améliorer un des instruments de planification urbaine durable, le PMUD (plan de mobilité urbaine durable) grâce à la stratégie de mobilité innovante pour les flux des étudiants à l'intérieur du campus universitaire MED et la leur intégration dans la ville. Les campus universitaires dans la région MED sont liés avec leur contexte urbain et ils souffrent une grande pression des flux et des activités des étudiants. Il existent differents niveaux de l'état de l'art des PMUD dans la zone MED et souvent ils ne tiennent pas compte de l'intégration de la mobilité des campus universitaires. Le plan d'action du projet contribuera à résoudre le manque d'intégration des modes de mobilité durables qui ont causé la congestion par les voitures privées dans les Campus et la faible utilisation des transports publics. Le plan d'action sera basé sur une analyse, un modèle d’annexe pour les décideurs et un modèle de Technologie de l'Information de la Communication qui permettront d'améliorer la capacité des décideurs sur la planification de la mobilité dans les Campus. L'approche départs de la capitalisation des expériences du partenariat sur la mobilité des étudiants et sur les PMUD, afin d'avoir un panel représentatif transnational dans MED, et il applique des méthodes multi-critères, l’évaluation des alternatives TIC, des politiques et des instruments durables de la mobilité, afin d'élaborer une stratégie à long terme pour la mobilité des étudiants dans la région MED.

CAMP-sUmp aims to improve sustainable urban mobility planning instruments as SUMP (Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan), through innovative mobility strategies for students’ flows inside the MED Area University Campus and their integration with the urban areas. In fact in MED Area, Campus are strong interrelated to their urban context and they suffer from a big pressure caused by students’ mobility flows and activities. There are different levels of state of the art in SUMPs in MED area and they often do not take into account the integration with University Campus mobility. The Action Plan for Campus sustainable University mobility plans (CAMP-sUmp) will contribute to plug a gap due to the congestion caused by private cars in University wider area and the low use of public transport by students. The Action Plan will be based on a framework analysis, a Road Map Model for decision makers and on ICT model and instruments that will improve the capacity of decision makers and university mobility managers to plan the best sustainable mobility solution in University Campus. The approach starts from the capitalization of each partner’s experience on students mobility and on existing SUMPs, in order to have a transnational representative panel within MED area, and will apply multi-criteria methods, evaluation of alternatives, ICT solutions, combined in the most effective policies and instruments of sustainable mobility, to develop a long-term strategy for students’ mobility in MED area.

Achievements (EN):

During the second RP, the project has implemented activities as planned and recovered the slight initial delay. The overall project and partners’ management have been upgraded and improved through awarding the external Technical Assistance to the project, which ensured continuous backing of all partners in project development. The 1st Project Report was finalized in September 2017, including PPs CoEs, 7 skype meetings for partners arrangements were performed. Continuous exchanges were ensured between the LP an PPs and a SC was organized via web. 4 more local working groups have been settled to support WP3 achievements of this RP (Athens, Malta, Valencia and Bologna). The LP started developing the concept of the stakeholders forum with the support of JS, which will be finalized in next RP. Communication materials and tools have been produced by PPs: press releases, articles, videos, social media activities, the project portrait was printed, roll ups were produced, USB keys design, email distribution list further populated, and posters have been printed. CAMP-sUmp participated to the GO-SUMP event in Torres Vedras (September 25-26th, 2017), to CIVITAS Forum 2017 and contributed to develop the horizontal project contents through exchanges of documents and communication materials. Also, information was ensured to MED along the reporting period.In the Studying WP3, quantitative and qualitative data deliverables have been finalized with PP inputs in September 2017, recovering the initial delay. Also, the SWOT and Gap analysis were completed, allowing also the finalization of the State of the art of innovative urban mobility instruments. The two Action Plans were drafted and will be finalized in due time during RP3, as well as the Roadmap for decision makers and ICT tools model and requirements. A first version of the report of seminars for knowledge diffusion was drafted, allowing partners to finalize the report in due time.
