Os recursos naturais e patrimoniais constituem o principal recurso turístico dos territórios banhados pelo rio Douro / Douro (Flumen Durius, em latim). Por essa razão, o principal objetivo do projeto é preservá-los e valorizá-los para aumentar o fluxo de visitantes e alcançar um maior crescimento econômico. Por esta razão, Flumen Durius quer propor modelos sustentáveis para conservar o patrimônio tangível e intangível, reforçar a imagem conjunta e os serviços turísticos utilizando TIC e redes sociais e promover um turismo de qualidade.

Los bienes naturales y patrimoniales constituyen el principal recurso turístico de los territorios bañados por el río Duero/Douro (Flumen Durius, en latín). Por ese motivo, el principal objetivo del proyecto consiste en preservarlos y ponerlos en valor para aumentar los flujos de visitantes y para lograr un mayor crecimiento económico. Por ello, Flumen Durius quiere proponer modelos sostenibles para conservar el patrimonio material e inmaterial, reforzar la imagen conjunta y los servicios turísticos utilizando las TIC y las redes sociales y promover un turismo de calidad.

The natural and heritage assets constitute the main tourist resource of the territories bathed by the Douro / Douro River (Flumen Durius, in Latin). For this reason, the main objective of the project is to preserve them and to communicate them in order to increase visitor flows and achieve greater economic growth. For this reason, Flumen Durius wants to propose sustainable models to preserve the tangible and intangible heritage, reinforce the joint image and the tourist services using ICT and social networks and to promote a quality tourism.
