Description (EN):

“Due Mari” is adressing main Adriatic – Ionian challenge -concerning sustainable touristic development via smart technologies. It is focused on developing a joint valorisation of a unique cultural and natural assets of all 3 regions (Montenegro, Albania, southern adriatic Italy). Sustainable tourism has the potential to become the main driver of change through the use of innovative interactive Virtual tour platform, counterbalance the seasonal and mass touristic approach, increase the demand and offer of current/future touristic solutions. The Project jointly tackles socio-economic and territorial development cohesion, as well contributes to EUSAIR and Europe 2020 Strategy and EU tourism policy framework. Better connected regions through the creation of new touristic routes, enhancement of local development, and promotion of local products and services, is the first overall objective. Due Mari will redefine the promotion of tourism and sustainable development and directly improve the visibility of the programme area through interactive joint web platform, influence promotion of local products and services as well as promote cultural and natural assets. It boost attractiveness of natural and cultural assets and improve a smart and sustainable economic development, reaching following main results: 1 Due Mari 360 virtual interactive Platform - Common Cross border web based interactive platform that will promote exissting and new turistic routes 2. Common strategy and action plan on sustainble managment of Due Mari platform and Due Mari touristic route 3. Policy Paper on use of innovative digital media in joint promotion throughg common "Due Mari" touristic route 4. over 200 stakeholers trained on using Due Mari Virtual interactive 360 platform 5. 4 pilot/demonstration projects

Expected Results (EN): Common action Plans for the smart management of tourist destinations to be adopted by the public authorities of the Programme area.

Expected Outputs (EN):

Main overall objective of “Due Mari” is to create joint VirutalReality platform to enchance sustainable tourism growth, diminish seasonality, promote new technologies and innovative approaches and tools in tourism marketing. The main project objective that is aligned with specific Porgramme priority S.O. 2.1 – as it aims to drive to a smart and sustainable growth by sharing and applying innovative IT solutions for cultural assets marketing, management and valorization. A common Strategy and Action Plan for Sustainable and Innovative Management of joint assets and development of new routes (Joint: Strategy, Action Plan, Agreement Protocol, Capacity Building and Training, Virtual Reality Platfrom mobile applications). Due Mari will raises competencies and skills needed to support cultural heriatege preservation as it will give support to Regional Network Of Cultural Tourism, investment in Virtual Platform,small scale investment in cultural routes signalization.
