This project of inclusive growth is at the heart of the Europe 2020 strategy and aims to strengthen entrepreneurial culture by supporting student entrepreneurship in the blue and green growth priority sectors of the transnational FR-IT area. The general objective of the STEP project is to provide entrepreneurial skills to students so that they are better prepared to enter the labour market, promote new business opportunities in the field of blue and green growth and support higher student mobility in the transnational area. STEP’s actions should improve the employability of young people and their access to the labour market. There are three key objectives. The first will make students aware of entrepreneurship and the identification of good cross-border practices. The second will promote the development of entrepreneurial skills for students with a business creation training and action course. The third will promote transnational mobility and professional opportunities for student entrepreneurs by creating a "STEP" resource centre cross-border pilot network in universities and their entrepreneurial ecosystems. This project will support the professional vocations of students and young graduates, by providing them with entrepreneurship training and increasing their awareness of transnational opportunities in the blue and green growth priority sectors. The project will promote the exchange of knowledge and transnational mobility in two ways. One will be the organisation of a cross-border competitive exam where young people who took the training and action course will have the opportunity to submit their projects. The other will be the creation of a network of cross-border mobility support structures specially adapted to student entrepreneurs.

Description (IT):

TOUR.I.S.M.O. è una proposta progettuale che intende mettere in mano a studenti/neodiplomati la chiave di volta per rilanciare il settore del turismo e dell’ospitalità, inserendoli in percorsi di mobilità transfrontaliera che possano fornirgli strumenti operativi e manageriali utili ad un corretto inserimento nel mondo del lavoro turistico-ricettivo. Il progetto si inserisce quindi in un’azione di formazione congiunta transfrontaliera nella filiera prioritaria del turismo innovativo e sostenibile per la valorizzazione delle strutture ricettive, nonché dei beni storici, naturalistici e identitari dei territori transfrontalieri coinvolti. Si potranno così valorizzare le vocazioni personali degli studenti, permettendogli di conoscere sistemi d’impresa altri rispetto a quelli presenti nel loro territorio di provenienza, di creare connessioni territoriali in chiave economica e di sperimentare prospettive occupazionali in grado di favorire la loro futura integrazione nel mercato del lavoro transfrontaliero. La presente proposta prevede la seguente articolazione progettuale. Attività 1: Scambio di esperienze e culture tra il mondo delle imprese ricettive e delle istituzioni scolastiche, attraverso l’inserimento degli studenti, nell’ambito della filiera prioritaria del turismo innovativo e sostenibile legato alla crescita blu e verde, anche sulla base delle sperimentazioni nazionali dell’alternanza scuola-lavoro; Attività 2: Organizzazione di esperienze lavorative di studenti italiani in Francia e di studenti francesi in Italia (come studenti singoli o gruppo classe) presso imprese ricettive e organismi pubblici/privati nell’ambito della filiera transfrontaliera prioritaria del turismo innovativo e sostenibile; Attività 3: Percorso laboratoriale finalizzato all’acquisizione delle competenze necessarie per trasformare in chiave innovativa l’attrattività turistica dei territori coinvolti, con la messa a disposizione di un tutor scolastico e di un tutor aziendale.

La proposition de projet TOUR.I.S.M.O. vise à donner aux étudiants/diplômés la clé pour relancer le secteur du Tourisme et de l’Hôtellerie, à travers la réalisation de parcours de mobilité transfrontalière qui puissent leur fournir les instruments opérationnels et de management nécessaires pour une profitable insertion dans le secteur touristique-hôtelier. Le projet s’insère ainsi dans une action de formation conjointe transfrontalière dans la filière prioritaire du tourisme innovant et durable pour la mise en valeur des hébergements et des atouts environnementaux, historiques et identitaires des territoires transfrontaliers impliqués. En conséquence, il sera possible de mettre en valeur les vocations personnelles des étudiants, qui pourront connaitre des tissus d’entreprises d’autres régions, de créer de connexions territoriales dans une clé économique et d’expérimenter des perspectives d’emploi nouvelles, qui pourront favoriser leur future intégration dans le marché du travail transfrontalier. Cette proposition de projet prévoit les activités suivantes: Activité 1 : Echange d’expériences et cultures parmi le monde des entreprises hôtelières et les établissements de formation, à travers l’insertion des étudiants dans la filière prioritaire du tourisme innovant et durable, lié à la Croissance Bleue et Verte, sur la base également des expériences nationales liées à l'alternance école/travail;Activité 2 : Organisation d’expériences de travail des étudiants italiens en France et des étudiants français en Italie (parcours individuels ou en groupe classe) auprès des entreprises d’hébergement touristique et/ou auprès d’organismes publiques/privés dans le cadre de la filière prioritaire du tourisme innovant et durable; Activité 3 : Parcours d’atelier pratique finalisé à l’acquisition des compétences nécessaires pour rénover l’attractivité touristiques des territoires impliqués, avec la mise à disposition d’un tuteur de formation et un tuteur d’entreprise

Achievements (EN):

If the TOUR.ISMO project, in its first formulation, was indeed aimed at providing students – through exchanges and cross-border internships – with new skills that they can transfer to the area of origin, in its digital and dematerialized approach, to which the pandemic The emergency has guided us, on the contrary, it has shown that it is precisely students who - if they are put in a position to create and design something - can help identify trends, scenarios, opportunities, tools and useful solutions, to meet the challenges of our time. All participants in the three hackathons organized in our regions had a clear idea: by creating suitable working conditions and giving students a voice, companies can take advantage of a wealth of ideas, impulses and opportunities. Tools that are still almost completely unused. In this paradigm reversal, students become CO-PROTAGONISTS of innovation. It's not just about giving them knowledge, but acting in such a way that everyone feels like they are participating in innovation, as if they were facing a collective travel experience in which young people in particular can make a difference. Projects for students that meet expectations The expected moment of the event was the discovery of the tourism projects created by the students combined with the results of the tested methodology. The three winners of the territorial hackathons presented their project, the result of an extraordinary work of learning, research, analysis and collaboration across borders. Participants were able to attend the pitch of the three winning projects: CONNECTED WITH TRAVEL (Sardinia) BLISS and SHE (Var) BYSEACLE (Tuscany) These projects contain all the necessary ingredients to create interesting business projects. They concern the creation of new tools to manage tourist flows, the discovery and promotion of alternative tourist routes, the use of new technologies and the application of the highest anti-COVID standards. A total of 63 students and 50 participating companies demonstrated their commitment to regional development and their knowledge of the levers for revitalizing the tourism sector in the border area and emphasized in the discussions the advantages of open innovation, also with regard to adapting labor supply/demand and thus employability . TOUR.ISMO leaves an important legacy of new relationships, new working methods and, above all, new ambitions that can be expressed in future joint projects.
