Description (EN):

Social exclusion of certain groups is one of key problems experienced on both sides of the Polish-Lithuanian border. The problem is dealt with by institutions creating the system of social assistance, supported by NGOs, private enterprises or individuals. Also Elk Culture Center and Association Seniors Initiatives Centre in Kaunas, beneficiaries of the project “Modern seniors – cooperation for active maturity”, would like to become a permanent part of these systems in their cities and regions. The project activities are targeted at a disadvantaged group: seniors 60+, and aim at enhancing their motivation to stay active and participate in the social life – one of life quality factors. Within the project a small investment will be carried out and equipment will be purchased that will serve the target group. 152 senior participants will take part in activities that will use their creative potential, improve their health and frame of mind, teach them skills useful in the modern world of technology – senior camps focusing on culture and health/recreation and ICT classes within the Flying senior’s club. The total budget of the project is 36 429,58 EUR.

Wykluczenie społeczne pewnych grup jest jednym z kluczowych problemów doświadczanych po obu stronach polsko-litewskiej granicy. Problemem zajmują się instytucje tworzące system opieki społecznej, wspierane przez NGO, przedsiębiorstwa czy osoby prywatne. Także Ełckie Centrum Kultury i Stowarzyszenie Centrum Inicjatyw Seniorów w Kownie, beneficjenci projektu „Nowocześni seniorzy – współpraca na rzecz aktywnej dojrzałości” chciałyby być stałą częścią tych systemów w swoich miastach i regionach. Działania projektu kierowane są do grupy defaworyzowanej: seniorów 60+ i mają na celu wzmocnienie ich motywacji do bycia aktywnymi oraz do uczestnictwa w życiu społecznym – jednego z czynników jakości życia. W ramach projektu zrealizowana zostanie niewielka inwestycja i zakupione zostanie wyposażenie, które posłuży grupie docelowej. 152 seniorów – uczestników weźmie udział w działaniach, które wykorzystają ich potencjał kreatywny, poprawią ich zdrowie i samopoczucie, wykształcą w nich umiejętności przydatne we współczesnym świecie technologii – obozach dla seniorów koncentrujących się na kulturze i zdrowiu/rekreacji oraz zajęciach ICT w ramach Latającego klubu seniora. Całkowity budżet projektu to 36 429,58 EUR.

Tam tikrų visuomenės grupių socialinė atskirtis yra opi problema abipus Lenkijos-Lietuvos sienos. Šią problemą sprendžia įstaigos, kuriančios socialinės paramos sistemas, prie jos sprendimo prisideda nevyriausybinės organizacijos, įmonės ar privatūs asmenys. Elko kultūros centras ir asociacija „Senjorų iniciatyvų centras" Kaune, paraiškos projektui „Šiuolaikiniai senjorai - bendradarbiavimas aktyvaus senėjimo srityje“ teikėjai, siekia tapti nuolatiniu tokios paramos sistemos savo mieste ir regione partneriu. Projekto veiklos skirtos socialinę atskirtį patiriantiems 60-mečiams ir vyresniems žmonėms, siekiant sustiprinti jų motyvaciją būti aktyviais ir dalyvauti visuomeniniame gyvenime, kas yra vienas iš svarbesnių gyvenimo kokybę lemiančių veiksnių. Projekto lėšomis bus įsigyta tikslinės grupės poreikių tenkinimui skirtos įrangos. Projekto veiklose dalyvaus 152 vyresni žmonės. Projekto veiklos skirtos vystyti senjorų kūrybinius gebėjimus, stiprinti sveikatą, gerinti emocinę būseną, išmokti gyvenimui moderniame technologijų pasaulyje būtinų įgūdžių. Šiuos įgūdžius senjorai įgis mobilaus IRT klubo mokymuose, kultūros, sveikos gyvensenos ir fizinio aktyvumo užsiėmimuose tarptautinėse stovyklose. Bendras projekto biudžetas yra 36 429,58 eurų.

Achievements (EN):

Flying senior‘s club established (a mobile senior‘s space) and necessary equipment bought – tents, IT hardware, electric and projection devices, portable tables and chairs. 2 sessions of trainings organized with instructors, in each tent computer spots were created. Altogether 103-hour sessions were organized in Ełk and in Kaunas. Two joint camps for seniors – Lithuanians and Poles were organized with 152 participants. Renovated premises in Elk for senior's activities.
