Siekiant išryškinti Lietuvos ir Lenkijos gamotis ir kultūros vertybių unikalumą, reikia imtis bendrų veiksmų, orientuotų į regiono paveldo išsaugojimą ir efektyvų bei darnų naudojimą. Partneriai parengs ir pristatys naujus turistų traukos objektus ir veiklas, išnaudodami didį regiono potencialą tolimesniam įvairių turizmo formų plėtojimui. Projekto tikslas: Remti turizmo plėtrą, siekiant didinti Trakų rajono ir Gižicko patrauklumą per: 1. kultūros ir gamtos paveldo obektų atkūrimą; 2. bendrų veiklų inicijavimą. Laukiami rezultatai: Projekto metu planuojama pastatyti, rekonstruoti, turizmo reikmėms pritaikyti ir įranga aprūpinti pastatus Trakų ir Gižicko regionuose. Siekiant efektyviai panaudoti atnaujintas erdves, planuojama pradėti bendras turistines veiklas, apimančias tradiciniais tapsiančių renginių organizavimą, kas turėtų paskatinti glaudesnį partnerių bendradarbiavimą kultūrinio turizmo srityje. Laukiamas poveikis – padidėjęs turistų skaičius Trakų ir Gižicko regionuose ir pailgėjusi svečių viešnagės trukmė. To emphasize the uniqueness of natural and cultural values of Poland and Lithuania, joint actions should be taken to preserve and protect and effectively use the heritage of the regions and adapt it to the development of tourism and culture. The project partners will introduce new tourist attractions, using the great potential of both regions to further develop various forms of tourism. The overall goal of the project: Supporting the development of tourism in order to increase the attractiveness of the Troki region and the municipality of Giżycko through: 1. Providing objects of cultural and natural heritage for the development of tourism and culture. 2. Initiating joint activities for the development of cross-border tourism. Awaited results: As part of the project, it is planned to build, adapt and reconstruct and equip buildings in the Trakai and Giżycko regions. In order to effectively use adapted facilities, it is planned to start joint tourist activities, including the organization of events that will become a tradition and initiate further cooperation in the field of cultural tourism development in Troki and the municipality of Giżycko. Expected impact: increase in the number of tourists accommodated in the Trakai and Giżycko regions, extension of the tourist season. beneficiaries: 1.Rural Municipality of Giżycko, 2.Trakai District Municipality Administration, 3 Communal Culture and Recreation Center in Wilkasy. 4. W celu podkreślenia wyjątkowosci wartości przyrodniczych i kulturowych Polski i Litwy należy podjać wspólne działania w celu zachowania i ochrony ora z skutecznego wykorzystania dziedzictwa regionów i dostosowania go do rozwoju turystyki i poszerzenia oferty kulturalnej. Partnerzy projektu wprowadzą nowe atrakcje turystyczne wykorzystując ogromny potencjał obu regionów do dalszego rozwoju różnych form turystyki. Ogólny cel projektu: Wspieranie rozwoju turystyki, by zwiększyć atrakcyjnosć rejonu Trok i gminy Giżycko poprzez: 1. Dostosowanie obiektów dziedzictwa kulturowego i przyrodniczego do rozwoju turystyki i kultury. 2. Inicjowanie wspólnych działąń na rzecz rozowju turystyki transgranicznej. Oczekiwane rezulaty: W ramach projektu planuje się budowę, adaptację i rekonstrukcję oraz wyposażenie budynków w regionach trockim i gminie Giżycko. W celu efektywnego wykorzystania dostosowanych obiektów planowane jest rozpoczęcie wspólnych działań turystycznych, w tym organizacja wydarzeń, które staną się tradycją i zapoczątkują dalszą współpracę w zakresie rozwoju turystyki kulturalnej w Trokach i gminie Giżycko. Oczekiwany wpływ: wzrost liczby turystów zakwaterowanych w regionach Troki i Giżycko, wydłużenie sezonu turystycznego. beneficjenci: 1.Gmina Giżycko, 2.Administracja Samorządu Rejonu Trockiego, 3.Gminny Ośrodek Kultury i Rekreacji w Wilkasach . 4.Pałac Kultury w Trokach . Achievements (EN):

Construction and equipment of the public library branch building with an outdoor stage in Bystry was finished. The rooms were adapted in the part of the rural house building in Doba. Repair and modernization works of main theater hall in Trakai centrum of culture with equipment (sound, lighting, stage and other equipment) were finished as well. What regards events, Polish - Lithuanian Folklore Fair , a dance workshops for the Polish-Lithuanian group , artistic workshops "Living with passion" , intercultural festival in Trakai, festival “Etno Trakai 2020” and a theatre workshop were organised as a result of the project.
