Description (EN): Overall objective of the project is to increase the sustainable use of cultural heritage for tourism in borderland region by commemorating the historical neighborhood of two countries in the occasion of the century of Lithuania’s statehood. During the project the aim will be accomplished by creating joint tourism route, promoting route increasing the number of common activities across the border and strengthening tourism capabilities and visibility of the region in media and social sites. Lithuanian and Polish borderline cities have a rich common history and culture heritage that can be used as a tourism attractions, but they are not known as a tourism destination, not visible for people choosing to travel in native lands. During the project joint tourism route will be created including heritage objects and monuments. The route will be combined in joint virtual map which will be exposed in internet sites of all beneficiaries. The tourism guide for the route going along 3 municipalities will be designed and published containing information about objects of the route, attractions near it, descriptions, photos, places of catering, accommodation, first aid, museums, local authorities, etc. There will be 3 representation events and 2 tour trips organized during the project implementation period for promoting the tourism of the region and created route. The promotional campaign disseminating and promoting the project and its results widely over the region will be implemented.
Read more Description (PL): Ogólnym celem projektu jest zwiększenie zrównoważonego wykorzystania dziedzictwa kulturowego dla turystyki w regionie przygranicznym poprzez upamiętnienie historycznego sąsiedztwa dwóch krajów z okazji stulecia państwowości Litwy. W ramach projektu cel zostanie osiągnięty poprzez utworzenie i promowanie wspólnej trasy turystycznej, zwiększając liczbę wspólnych działań na terenie pogranicza oraz wzmocnienie potencjału turystycznego i widoczności regionu w mediach i sieciach społecznych. Litewskie i polskie miasta pogranicza mają bogatą historię i dziedzictwo kulturowe, które mogą być wykorzystane jako atrakcje turystyczne, ale nie są znane jako cel turystyki, niewidoczne dla osób decydujących się na podróże po ojczystych ziemiach. Podczas projektu zostanie stworzona wspólna trasa turystyczna z obiektów zabytkowych i pomników. Trasa zostanie połączona we wspólnej wirtualnej mapie, która będzie widoczna na stronach internetowych wszystkich beneficjentów. Zostanie zaprojektowany i opublikowany przewodnik turystyczny dla trasy biegnącej przez 3 gminy, zawierający informacje na temat obiektów trasy, atrakcji w okolicy, opisów, zdjęć, miejsc gastronomicznych, zakwaterowania, pierwszej pomocy, muzeów, władz lokalnych itd. 3 imprezy reprezentacyjne i 2 wycieczki zostanie zorganizowane w okresie realizacji projektu w celu promowania turystyki w regionie i utworzenia trasy, kampania promocyjna rozpowszechniająca i promująca projekt oraz jego wyniki szeroko rozpowszechnione w regionie.
Read more Description (LT): Bendras projekto tikslas yra padidinti tvarų kultūros paveldo naudojimą turizmui pasienio regione pažymint dviejų šalių istorinę kaimynystę Lietuvos valstybingumo šimtmečio proga. Projekto metu tikslo bus siekiama kuriant naują bendrą turizmo maršrutą reklamuojant istorinį maršrutą, kuriant daugiau bendrų veiklų abipus sienos ir stiprinant turizmo srities gebėjimus bei regiono matomumą spaudoje ir socialiniuose tinkluose. Lietuvos ir Lenkijos pasienio miestai turi turtingą bendrą istoriją ir kultūrinį paveldą, kurį gali išnaudoti turistams pritraukti, bet jie nėra žinomi kaip turistinės kryptys, nematomi žmonėms besirenkantiems keliauti po gimtuosius kraštus. Projekto metu bus sukurtas bendras maršrutas, įtraukiant kultūros paveldo objektus ir paminklus. Maršrutas bus apjungtas virtualiame žemėlapyje, kuris bus įkeltas į pareiškėjų interneto tinklapius. Bus išleistas maršruto, einančio per tris savivaldybes, turistinis gidas, apimantis informaciją apie maršruto objektus, lankytinas vietas, aprašymus, nuotraukas, nakvynės ir maitinimo paslaugų, pirmosios pagalbos, muziejų, vietos valdžios vietas. Įgyvendinant projektą bus suorganizuoti trys pristatomieji renginiai ir dvi ekskursijos, siekiant viešinti turizmą regione ir sukurtą maršrutą, įgyvendinama reklaminė kampanija, viešinanti projektą ir jo rezultatus.
