Taking in consideration Lithuania’s and Poland’s common history and influences on culture and the opportunities related to celebrations and rich cultural and natural heritage, Center of culture of Šilalės district municipality together with Center of culture of Ukmergė and Society of Polish Lithuanian Ethnic Culture submits the project "Popularization of natural and cultural heritage through Lithuanian-Polish ethnic culture" which goal is to promote Lithuanian and Polish natural and cultural heritage through a joint Lithuanian-Polish ethnic culture. The project’s target group is program’s territory people and tourists coming to Lithuania and Poland. Main project idea is to develop and use joint Polish-Lithuanian ethnic culture and celebrations related to that culture as measure to attract more tourists to specific cultural and natural heritage objects in specific areas of Lithuania-Poland.

Atsižvelgiant į bendrą Lietuvos ir Lenkijos istoriją, ir įtaką kultūrai bei galimybes susijusias su šventėmis bei turtingu kultūriniu ir gamtiniu paveldu, Šilalės rajono savivaldybės kultūros centras kartu su Ukmergės kultūros centru ir Lenkijos lietuvių etninės kultūros draugija teikia projektą ,,Gamtinio ir kultūrinio paveldo populiarinimas per Lietuvos-Lenkijos etnokultūrą”, kurio tikslas yra pasitelkiant bendrą Lietuvos ir Lenkijos etnokultūrą populiarinti Lietuvos ir Lenkijos gamtinį ir kultūrinį paveldą.Projekto tikslinė grupė yra programos teritorijos gyventojai ir turistai atvykstantys į Lietuvą-Lenkiją. Pagrindinė projekto idėja yra sukurti ir panaudoti jungtinę Lietuvos-Lenkijos etninę kultūrą ir šventes susijusias su ta kultūra kaip priemonę pritraukti daugiau turitstų prie specifinių kultūros ir gamtinio paveldo objektų, speficinėse Lietuvos-Lenkijos vietose.

Mając na uwadze wspólną historię Litwy i Polski, jak również jej wpływ na kulturę oraz możliwości związane ze świętami oraz bogatym dziedzictwem kulturowym i przyrodniczym Centrum Kultury w Šilalė podległe Samorządowi Rejonowemu wraz z Centrum Kultury w Ukmergė i Stowarzyszeniem Litewskiej Kultury Etnicznej w Polsce składa projekt „Propagowanie dziedzictwa przyrodniczego i kulturowego poprzez kulturę etniczną Polski i Litwy”, który ma na celu popularyzację dziedzictwa przyrodniczego i kulturowego Ukmergė przy wykorzystaniu wspólnego dziedzictwa kultury etnicznej w Polsce i na Litwie. Grupę docelową projektu będą stanowili mieszkańcy obszaru objętego programem i turyści przybywający do Polski i Litwy. Główną ideą projektu jest utworzenie i wykorzystanie wspólnego dziedzictwa kultury etnicznej w Polsce i na Litwie i związanych z nią świąt jako środka do przyciągnięcia większej liczby turystów do szczególnych obiektów dziedzictwa kulturowego i przyrodniczego w ciekawych miejscach Polski i Litwy.

Achievements (EN): Joint ethnic culture celebrations programme and joint ethnic culture tourism route created. Ethnic culture related celebrations (21 evens) organized with more than 15000 participants. 2 sets of sound systemfor implementation of all celebrations and events in Šilalė and Punsk were purchased.
