Der berufsbegleitende Studiengang „Master of Business Administration (MBA) Soziale Arbeit“ für Fach- und Führungskräfte der Sozialen Arbeit aus grenznahen Kommunen vermittelt in vier Semestern Managementwissen auf dem neuesten Stand mit einem einmaligen Fokus auf die Soziale Arbeit. In ausgewählten Modulen (voraussichtlich Strategisches Management, Finanzierung & Controlling, Human Ressources, Qualitätsmanagement, Verwaltungs- und Sozialrecht, Case Management, Diversity, Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, Verhandlungsführung u. a.) und insbesondere ab dem 3. Semester wird die Anwendung allgemeiner theoretischer Managementkonzepte in der Profession der Sozialen Arbeit vertieft. Case Studies aus der eigenen Organisation und Projektarbeiten unterstützen diese Vertiefung zusätzlich. Die Masterarbeit bietet den Teilnehmenden abschließend die Möglichkeit, ein frei gewähltes Thema aus dem Management der Sozialen Arbeit intensiv zu bearbeiten. Einzigartig ist zum einen das Blended-Learning-Konzept (Online-Lernphase mit eTutor gekoppelt mit Präsenzunterricht). Durch die LektorInnen und den/die eTutorIn wird eine durchgängige persönliche Betreuung der Teilnehmenden während des gesamten Executive MBA Soziale Arbeit gewährleistet. Die Teilnehmenden können auch abends und an Wochenenden ihre persönliche wissenschaftliche Betreuung kontaktieren. Durch das Blended-Learning-Konzept (virtueller Seminarraum und kompakte Präsenzeinheiten) ist eine gute Vereinbarkeit des Studiums mit Beruf und Familie gewährleistet. Das Studienprogramm ist damit nicht nur berufsbegleitend, sondern insbesonderes berufsermöglichend ausgelegt. Die Teilnehmenden beteiligen sich mit 200 Euro pro Semester an den Kosten. Das Vorhaben wird mit einer Kick-off der Zielgruppe und der Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt und endet mit einer öffentlichen Abschlussveranstaltung und Pressekonferenz. Es soll langfristig auch über die Förderperiode hinaus in Kooperation der Projektpartner weiter angeboten werden.

Description (EN):

The part-time course of study “Master of Business Administration (MBA) Social Work” for specialists and managers of social work from municipalities close to borders provides state-of-the-art management knowledge in four semesters with a unique focus on social work. In selected modules (expectedly Strategic Management, Financing & Controlling, Human Resources, Quality Management, Administrative and Social Law, Case Management, Diversity, Public Relations, Negotiation, etc.) and especially from 3. The semester will deepen the application of general theoretical management concepts in the profession of social work. Case studies from your own organisation and project work also support this deepening. The master’s thesis finally offers participants the opportunity to work intensively on a freely chosen topic from the management of social work. On the one hand, the blended learning concept (online learning phase with eTutor coupled with classroom lessons) is unique. The lecturers and the eTutorIn ensure a consistent personal support of the participants throughout the entire Executive MBA Social Work. Participants can also contact their personal scientific support in the evenings and on weekends. The blended learning concept (virtual seminar room and compact face-to-face units) ensures a good compatibility of studies with work and family. The study programme is therefore designed not only in part-time, but in particular for professional purposes. The participants contribute to the costs of EUR 200 per semester. The project is presented with a kick-off of the target group and the public and ends with a public closing event and press conference. It should also be offered in the long term beyond the funding period in cooperation with the project partners.

Expected Outputs (DE): Führunskräfte aus AT und D erwerben anerk. MBA-Abschluss, begleitendes Praxisforum & anschließendes Alumni-Programm fördert Austausch von Fachwissen & Festigung gem. Standards, ggf. Grundlage zu weiterführenden Kooperationen der Soz. Arb. & Hilfesysteme.
