The Federal Chamber of Civil Technicians, Section of Architects (LP) representing the direct participants, the Regional Chamber of the ZTinnen für Tirol+Vorarlberg (T+V) and the LK of the ZTinnen for Salzburg and Upper Austria (S+OÖ) together with the Bavarian Chamber of Architects (PP) want to create a cross-border competence network (KNW) on the topic of architecture competition (AWB) with the present project. AWB should be more accessible and therefore fairer. This concerns e.g. the access conditions, the fair composition of the jury and the design of the prize money. T/V and S/OÖ borders in a large part of Bavaria. In the respective federal states, many architects participated in competitions that had been advertised in this cross-border chamber area and cooperated with the respective chamber. Identifying, dismantling and enhancing cooperation in competition is the objective of the project. Through a joint architectural competition platform coordinator for Bavaria, T/V and S/OÖ and a series of events, the partner regions will increasingly initiate AWB and allow members on both sides of the border to participate in these procedures. The transfer of knowledge about the other legal and administrative requirements strengthens the competence of the architects in this border region. Furthermore, the networking work also creates the basis for further cooperation. During the project period, the co-ordinator will set up an online architectural competition platform or expand the existing platform www.architekturwettbewerb.at, communicate it to members in cross-border information events and design a handbook — Onlin platform with the help of the partners’ expert knowledge. The project consortium is intended to show barriers and develop solutions at the same time.

Die Bundeskammer der ZiviltechnikerInnen, Sektion der ArchitektInnen (LP) in Vertretung der direkten Teilnehmer, der Länderkammer der ZTInnen für Tirol+Vorarlberg (T+V) und der LK der ZTInnen für Salzburg und Oberösterreich (S+OÖ) möchte zusammen mit der Bayerischen Architektenkammer (PP) mit dem gegenständlichen Vorhaben ein grenzüberschreitendes Kompetenznetzwerk (KNW) zum Thema Architekturwettbewerb (AWB) schaffen. AWB sollen zugänglicher und damit fairer werden. Dies betrifft z.B. die Zugangsbedingungen, die faire Zusammensetzung der Jurys sowie die Ausgestaltung der Preisgelder. T/V bzw. S/OÖ grenzen in weiten Teilen an Bayern an. In den jeweiligen Bundesländern haben viele ArchitektInnen an Wettbewerben, die in diesem grenzüberschreitenden Länderkammer-Bereich ausgeschrieben und mit der jeweiligen Kammer kooperiert waren, teilgenommen. Etwaige Hemmnisse zu identifizieren, abzubauen und verstärkt im Wettbewerbswesen zusammenzuarbeiten ist das Projektziel. Durch eine/n gemeinsame/n Architekturwettbewerbsplattformkoordinator /in für Bayern, T/V und S/OÖ und eine Veranstaltungsreihe sollen in den Partnerregionen vermehrt AWB initiiert und Mitgliedern beiderseits der Grenze ermöglicht werden, an diesen Verfahren teilzunehmen. Der Wissenstransfer über die jeweils anderen gesetzlichen wie administrativen Vorgaben stärkt die Kompetenz der ArchitektInnen in dieser Grenzregion. Weiters wird durch die Vernetzungsarbeit auch die Basis für weitere Kooperationen geschaffen. In der Projektlaufzeit soll der/die gemeinsame Koordinator /in eine online - Architekturwettbewerbsplattform aufbauen bzw. die bestehende Plattform www.architekturwettbewerb.at erweitern, diese in grenzüberschreitenden Informationsveranstaltungen den Mitgliedern vermitteln und mit Hilfe des ExpertInnenwissens der Partner ein Handbuch - Onlin Plattform gestalten. Das Projektkonsortium soll Barrieren aufzeigen und gleichzeitig Lösungsansätze erarbeiten.

Expected Results (DE): EI 7 - Kooperationsintensität - gemessen am Anteil derjenigen, die grenzüberschreitende Kooperationen als zumindest überdurchschnittlich bewerten (in % der gesamten Bewertung)

Expected Outputs (DE): Durch die durchgängig gemeinsam erarbeiteten Projektergebnisse entsteht langfristig ein integrierter Markt im Bereich Architektur, der weitere intensive Kooperationen der Interessensvertretungen auch in anderen Bereichen erfordern wird.
