A 1 Elaborating a cross-border strategy for a culture heritage-friendly tourism environment, responsible partner LP, location District of Kyustendil A 2 Creating of the communication plan for promotion the joint tourist interpretation and usage of culture heritage, responsible partner PP2, location North-east region A3 Information and discussion forum “Culture heritage-friendly tourism in the CB area – challenges and opportunities” in Macedonia, responsible partner PP2, location North-east region A4 Training session “Culture heritage-friendly activities in the tourist business” in Bulgaria, responsible partner LP, location District of Kyustendil A5 Get the local government involved in the tourism industry strengthening, responsible partner LP, location District of Kyustendil and North-east region - Recognition and commitment from the local governmental sector improving environment for development of culture heritage-friendly tourism in the CB will be achieved through face to face meetings. A6 Pilot culture heritage-friendly activities in the tourist business, responsible partner LP, location District of Kyustendil and North-east region - Bulgarian culture thematic evening in Macedonia and Macedonian culture thematic evening in Bulgaria will be organized. A 1 Разработване на трансгранична стратегия за туристическа среда, благоприятстваща културното наследство, отговорен партньор ПП1, място Кюстендил A 2 Създаване на комуникационен план за популяризиране на съвместната туристическа интерпретация и използване на културното наследство, отговорен партньор ПП2, място Североизточен регион A3 Информационен и дискусионен форум " Туризъм, благоприятстваща културното наследство в трансграничния регион - предизвикателства и възможности" в Македония, отговорен партньор ПП2, място Североизточен регион А4 Семинар " Дейности, благоприятстващи културното наследство в туристическия бизнес" в България, Отговорен партньор ПП1, място Кюстендил A5 Привличане на местните власти в укрепването на туристическата индустрия, отговорен партньор ПП2, място Кюстендил и Североизточен регион - Признаване и ангажираност от държавните и местните власти за подобряване на средата за развитие на туризъм, благоприятстващ културното наследство в трансграничния регион чрез срещи лице в лице. A 1 Развивање на прекугранична стратегија за туристичка средина која придонесува за културното наследство, одговорен партнер ПП1, место Ќустендил A 2 Создавање на план за комуникација за промовирање на заедничката туристичка интерпретација и користење на културното наследство, одговорен партнер ПП2, место Североисточен регион A3 Информативен форум и дискусија " Туризам кој придонесува за културното наследство во прекуграничниот регион - предизвици и можности " во Македонија, одговорен партнер ПП2, место Североисточен регион А4 Семинар "" Активности кои придонесуваат за културното наследство во туристичкиот бизнис "" во Бугарија, Одговорен партнер ПП1, место Ќустендил A5 Привлекување на локалните власти во зајакнувањето на туристичката индустрија, одговорен партнер ПП2, место Ќустендил и Североисточен регион - Признавање и ангажираност од државните и локалните власти за подобрување на средината за развој на туризам кој што придонесува за културното наследство во прекуграничниот регион преку средби лице во лице. Achievements (EN):

The cross-border impact of the project is to facilitate the adoption of a common cross-border approach approach to the preservation and valorisation of cultural heritage in cross-border region as an important prerequisite for enhancing the attractiveness of the region for both investment and building a quality living environment while preserving regional identity. In this context, by supporting tourism sector to identify, promote and implement new ways of tourist interpretation and usage of heritage, covering the entire value chain of customers /tourists – company – local community/, under a common cross-border strategy, the project have pave the way for maintaining harmony between heritage protection and its valorisation and usage, and thus improve the tourism in the border area. Project activities increased develop capacity for implement of the heritage-friendly measures in context of the tourism development by tourism human resources of the both sides of the border. Additionally the project had built partnerships between tourism businesses, organizations related with culture heritage protection and local governmental on the both sides of the border. This further strengthened the cooperation among stakeholders in field of the sustainable tourism in the CBC region and provides solid foundation for further joint activities. Also developed joint innovative tools for promotion and valorisation of the culture heritage are relevant for the cultural heritage, as reflecting the common history and they are the good response to globalization, digitalization and cultural tourism trends.

Number of cultural events held for promoting the region's cultural identity;4.00;- Realized 4 cultural events held for promoting the region’s cultural identity as follows: 1. Information and discussion forum “Culture heritage-friendly tourism in the CB area – challenges and opportunities”. 2. Training session “Culture heritage-friendly activities in the tourist business”. 3. Traditional thematic cultural evenings of the Bulgarian-Macedonian culture. 4. Cross-border conference on Cultural Heritage- friendly tourism of the CB region – a unique resource for the joint tourist interpretation and usage of culture heritage.
