Description (EN):

Research and development: The aim of this activity is to study and analyze the existing tourist sites in the region and create the preconditions for popularizing the opportunities for tourist exchange among the young people from Blagoevgrad and Kriva Palanka. This will be achieved in three phases: researching, categorizing and analysis and reporting phase. Establishment of a Health and Tourism Network Center: In order to promote health and tourism at the same time, this activity will include establishment of Health and Tourism Network Center in Blagoevgrad. The Center will work with children and children with disabilities on providing free health services and at the same time will organize city tours. Formal Network will also be established. Outdoor mini golf and fitness playground competitions for children and children with disabilities: This activity will be conducted in two phases: 1.Outdoor mini golf and fitness playground building and 2.Children’s competitions. Youth Initiative: Health Tourism Product Development: This activity will include preparation of health tourism product from the young participants in the events. Children and children with disabilities will work for 5days in workshops, and 1day public event, in the area of health and tourism at PP1 and PP 2. Project promotion includes actions across the project which are planned to raise awareness about youth health tourism potential in Kriva Palanka and Blagoebgrad regions and promote the project and all events and products included in it.

Научноизследователска и развойна дейност: Целта на тази дейност е да се проучат и анализират съществуващите туристически обекти в региона и да се създадат предпоставки за популяризиране на възможностите за обмен на туристи сред младежите от Благоевград и Крива Паланка. Това ще бъде постигнато в три фази: изследване, категоризиране, анализ и фаза на докладване. Създаване на Център за здравна и туристическа мрежа: За да се стимулира едновременно здравето и туризма, тази дейност ще включва създаване на Център за здравна и туристическа мрежа в Благоевград. Центърът ще работи с деца и деца с увреждания за предоставяне на безплатни здравни услуги и в същото време ще организира обиколки на града. Ще бъде създадена формална мрежа. Мини голф и фитнес за деца и деца с увреждания състезания на открито: Тази дейност ще се провежда в две фази: 1.Външен мини голф и фитнес зала и 2.Детски състезания. Младежка инициатива: Развитие на здравен туристически продукт: Тази дейност ще включва подготовка на здравен туристически продукт от младите участници в събитията. Децата и децата с увреждания ще работят за 5 дни в семинари и 1дневно публично събитие в областта на здравеопазването и туризма в PP1 и PP 2. Популяризирането на проекти включва действия в рамките на проекта, които планират да повишат осведомеността за потенциала на младежкия здравен туризъм в районите Крива Паланка и Благоевград и да популяризират проекта и всички събития и продукти, включени в него.

Истражување и развој: Целта на оваа активност е да ги проучи и анализира постоечките туристички локалитети во регионот и да создаде предуслови за популаризација на можностите за туристичка размена меѓу младите луѓе од Благоевград и Крива Паланка. Ова ќе се постигне во три фази: истражување, категоризација и анализа и фаза на известување. Воспоставување на Центар за здравствена и уристичка мрежа: Со цел да се промовира здравјето и туризмот во исто време, оваа активност ќе вклучи и воспоставување на Центар за здравствена и уристичка мрежа во Благоевград. Центарот ќе работи со деца и деца со попреченост со обезбедување на бесплатни здравствени услуги и во исто време ќе организира посети на градот. Формална мрежа, исто така, ќе биде воспоставена. Мини голф на отворено и фитнес игралиште за деца и деца со посебни потреби: Оваа активност ќе се спроведува во две фази: 1. Градење на мини голф на отворено и фитнес игралиште и 2. натпревари на децата. Младинска иницијатива: развој на производ за здравствен туризам: Оваа активност ќе вклучува подготовка на здравствен туристички производ од младите учесници во настаните. Децата и децата со попреченост ќе работат за 5 дена во работилници и 1 ден јавен настан, во областа на здравството и туризмот кај PP1 и PP 2. Промоција на проектот вклучува активности низ целиот проект, кои се планираат да ја подигнат свеста за младинскиот здравствен туристички потенцијал во Крива Паланка и регионот Благоевград и да го промовираат проектот и сите настани и производи вклучени во неа.

Achievements (EN):

The project objectives were achieved, although the COVID-19 situation presented significant challenges, especially regarding travel and the possibilities to carry out joint events and enhance cross-border cooperation on personal level. Despite these challenges, a special accent was placed on the richness of the health and sports resources for cross-border tourism in the course of the various activities - through the research in Activity 1, the trainings carried out in the Center in Activity 2, the joint competitions in Activity 3 (although carried out in front of the camera), etc. Apart from the activities engaging the children in the cross-border region, the events for the adults helped to outline that the more pronounced tourism resources (cultural and natural heritage, winter sports) can be successfully enriched with others, such as health facilities, spa tourism, hiking and sightseeing - thus allowing for a more enjoyable experiences for tourists not only from the cross-border area, but also from abroad. This would also add to the financial well-being of the region and its inhabitants - an impact all the more important in the aftermath of economic blow inflicted by the COVID-19 pandemic on a global scale. Thus, the project contributed to the overall Programme objective “to intensify cross-border cooperation between the people and institutions of the region in order to jointly address common challenges and exploit untapped potentials” in which young people and disabled young people had the opportunity to participate together in a variety of activities. The project is coherent with the specific objective 2.3 Promoting cooperation among regional actors in the area of sustainable tourism having in mind the partnerships established, the effects of which are expected to be long-term.
