"This project is part of the plan PAYS SAGES": The Pays Aimables project tackles very topical problems: on one hand, the high environmental impact of coastal tourism and its risk of obsolescence and on the other hand, the lack of offers of the hinterland which, although representing one of the greatest development opportunities, struggling to spring up. The main objective is the creation of a cross-border tourist product which, with emphasis on the development of the cultural landscape and on the excellent products, can stand out on the global market, obtain public favour and guarantee the valorisation of the area's heritage. The PITER area comprises a long coastal segment extending over the French and Italian territories, the southern Piedmont hills system, and the last foothills of the Maritime Alps, acting as a junction. The partnership, made up of administrations working at the departmental or regional level, universities and chambers of commerce, wants to establish, on the territory, a form of public-private governance on several levels. The objective is to support competitiveness and sustainable economic development within the territory, through the enhancement of one of its strong points: the landscape, as a synthesis of identity, fruit of nature and men's work. Projects contribute to the strategy, by combining landscape and safeguarding (OS 1.2 - energy redevelopment of built heritage), management (OS 2.2 - building resilience and risk prevention policies), development (OS 3.1 - creation of sustainable tourism products, intended for a responsible public, with high spending capacity) and training (OS 4.2 - creation of specialists in project-related subjects, able to provide support to the socio-economic operators of the territory). The synergy between the coastal Liguria and PACA systems and the Langhe and Roero hills system makes it possible to jointly develop strategies with the aim of maintaining the tourist positioning of these areas on an international scale.

"Ce projet fait partie du plan PAYS SAGES": Le projet Pays Aimables aborde des problèmes de grande actualité : d’une part l'impact environnemental élevé du tourisme côtier et le risque d'obsolescence de celui-ci, et d'autre part les insuffisances d'offres de l'arrière-pays qui, bien que représentant l'une des plus grandes opportunités de développement, peine à décoller. L'objectif principal est la création d'un produit touristique transfrontalier qui, en mettant l'accent sur la mise en valeur du paysage culturel et les excellents produits, peut se démarquer sur le marché mondial, obtenir la faveur du public et garantir la valorisation du patrimoine de la zone. Le domaine du PITER comprend un long segment côtier s'étendant sur les territoires français et italien, le système de collines du Piémont méridional, ainsi que les derniers contreforts des Alpes Maritimes, faisant office de jonction. Le partenariat, formé d'administrations oeuvrant à l'échelle départementale ou régionale, d'universités et de chambres de commerce, souhaite mettre en place, sur le territoire, une forme de gouvernance publique-privée à plusieurs niveaux. L'objectif est de soutenir la compétitivité et un développement économique durable au sein du territoire, à travers la mise en valeur d'un de ses points forts : le paysage, en tant que synthèse identitaire, fruit de la nature et du travail des hommes. Les projets contribuent à la stratégie, en associant le paysage et la sauvegarde (OS 1.2 – requalification énergétique du patrimoine bâti), la gestion (OS 2.2 – renforcement de la résilience et des politiques de prévention du risque), le développement (OS 3.1 – création de produits touristiques durables, destinés à un public responsable, à forte capacité de dépense) et la formation (OS 4.2 – création de spécialistes de matières liées au projet, en mesure d'apporter un support aux opérateurs socioéconomiques du territoire). La synergie entre les systèmes côtiers Ligurie et PACA et le système de collines Langhe et Roero permet de développer conjointement des stratégies, dans le but de maintenir le positionnement touristique de ces zones, à l'échelle international.

"Questo progetto fa parte dell'piano PAYS SAGES": Il progetto Pays Aimables affronta problemi di grande attualità: da un lato l’elevato impatto ambientale del turismo costiero ed il rischio di obsolescenza dello stesso, dall’altro l’arretratezza dell’offerta dell’entroterra che, pur rappresentando una delle maggiori opportunità per il suo sviluppo, stenta a decollare. L’obiettivo primario è la creazione di un prodotto turistico transfrontaliero che, puntando sulla valorizzazione del paesaggio culturale e delle produzioni d’eccellenza, possa distinguersi sul mercato globalizzato, ottenendo il favore di pubblico e garantendo la valorizzazione del patrimonio dell’area. L'area PITER comprende un lungo tratto costiero che si estende sui territori francese e italiano, il sistema delle colline piemontesi meridionali e gli ultimi contrafforti delle Alpi Marittime, fungendo da nodo. Il partenariato, composto da amministrazioni che lavorano a livello dipartimentale o regionale, università e camere di commercio, vuole stabilire, sul territorio, una forma di governo pubblico-privato su più livelli. L'obiettivo è sostenere la competitività e lo sviluppo economico sostenibile all'interno del territorio, attraverso la valorizzazione di uno dei suoi punti di forza: il paesaggio, sintesi di identità, frutto della natura e lavoro dell'uomo . I progetti contribuiscono alla strategia, combinando paesaggio e salvaguardia (SO 1.2 - riqualificazione energetica del patrimonio edilizio), gestione (SO 2.2 - costruzione di politiche di resilienza e prevenzione dei rischi), sviluppo (SO 3.1 - creazione di prodotti turistici sostenibili, destinati a un pubblico responsabile, con elevata capacità di spesa) e formazione (SO 4.2 - creazione di specialisti in materie legate al progetto, in grado di fornire supporto agli operatori socio-economici del territorio). La sinergia tra i sistemi costieri della Liguria e del PACA e il sistema delle colline delle Langhe e del Roero consente di sviluppare congiuntamente strategie con l'obiettivo di mantenere il posizionamento turistico di queste aree su scala internazionale.
